It's interesting to finally be here. I've dreamed about this day for a while but I never expected it to come and it's just now hitting me that I'm getting married to Elijah. I feel like I might fall but luckily I have Alivia walking me down the aisle so I don't faceplant with these heels on.

At the end of the aisle Elijah is standing at the altar. His eyes were on me and I couldn't place the look. It was like love but it felt like something more, something more personal and more intimate to me. He looked at me like I was the only person in the whole world he cared about, as if all the others were faceless and vacant.

I blushed and looked down at my feet. I was mostly trying not to fall on Alivia. Then I realized something, it doesn't matter if I faceplant at my wedding because my wedding isn't about me.

It's about me and Elijah getting sealed to each other for the rest of eternity. I get that it sounds like a trap but if you find the right person, marriage won't be imprisoning, it will set you free.

I stopped leaning on Alivia and began to trust my feet to get me to that altar. It doesn't matter if I fall a thousand times, as long as I get to the altar it is all worth it.

When we get there Alivia lets me go and I don't fall. I stand up straighter and face my soon to be husband. His eyes were so bright, he looked elated to finally be at this point in time. I didn't blame him, I was elated to be here too.

I took him in and in his eyes I saw that emotion I was noticing earlier. His eyes were boring into mine but I could tell he wasn't looking at me. He smiled a smile that wasn't meant for me. A smile I had only seen him give Eden and that's how I knew he wasn't looking at me.

He was looking at our future child.

When he had come back to reality we were already halfway through the ceremony but he had been gazing lovingly at me for the entire time and so you could hear soft "awww"s from the crowd. He reached forward and encased my small hands in his.

I sighed contently at Elijah, this is the happiest I've seen him. I'm so glad he is showing me these breathtaking smiles of his. He looks amazing with a smile, It almost seems like the whole world lights up when he does.

Then I heard Elijah say "I do" confidently. I didn't even hear him ask Elijah if he will take me as his wife.

After that I made myself pay attention because I couldn't be zoned out when he asks if I will take Elijah to be my husband. But I couldn't help but think about what my dear Fiance was thinking about. He saw us with a daughter. What would our daughter look like? Would she have Elijah's bright smiles?

I sure hope she does because the world needs to see more of them. They make the world a better place.

"Lorelei, do you take Elijah to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do."

I have never been more sure of any two words in my entire life. I didn't even have to think about it, I just did and trusted in the rest.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."

Elijah didn't hesitate to grab ahold of my waist and pulled me closer until I was pressed up against him.

He dipped me but didn't hesitate to place his lips against mine. It was the fastest, but slowest kiss I ever had. It was filled to the brink with passion but it was also the most intimate kiss I have ever had. I was full of so much love for Elijah I couldn't express how it felt for me to be in his arms at our wedding altar.

I had just a few words going through my mind

He was holding out on me.

I cupped the back of his neck as I kissed back with the same amount of intimacy and passion as Elijah. In his arms I felt like nothing could ever come between the two of us. I felt invincible. I decided I liked the feeling.
