In the morning I woke up with a slight headache but I wasn't hungover. Indiana was a whole other story. I knew that he didn't drink for a while because Alivia didn't like when he did. He also drank half a bottle of whisky last night.

Indiana was probably going to sleep the day away except we needed to get to a meeting so I ended up waking him up. Our children had been up for hours and Indiana somehow slept through all the ruckus they had made.

Although I did take them to school about half an hour ago it is very possible that he just went back to sleep. When I got into Indiana's room he was sleeping half on the bed and half off the bed while cradling a pillow close to his chest. He was also sleeping in the clothes he was wearing yesterday except without the shirt. I hadn't noticed before but now his chest was almost completely metal. It was strange seeing metal on any of our other friends. It seemed that Indiana had somehow acquired more metal than Lorelei.

I guess he can't call her a robot anymore since he is probably more metal than her. Although her whole leg is metal and Indiana's chest was probably only metal down to where the skin had been.

Indiana was refusing to wake up. I almost threw a vase at him to get him awake but a pot of ice water did the trick.

Indiana burst awake and almost attacked me.

"Get up, we have to go to a meeting." I told him as I put down my pot.

Indiana mumbled something under his breath and I'm not sure I wanted to hear it.

"I would tell you to take a shower but it appears you already have." I smirked slightly.

"Ha, ha. You are so funny America. You kill me." Indiana said sarcastically.

"Prepare yourself Indiana, your wife is going to be there."

Indiana groaned a bit.

"You need to face her one day."

"Yes but I didn't want it to be the day after being thrown out of her house."

"What better day than today?"

"Any day, any day is better than today."

"And why is that?"

"Stars, I am so hungover," Indiana muttered, "I am a mess America, I don't want my wife to see that I'm a mess without her."

"Well then pull yourself together and go see her."

"I don't want to." Indiana moaned.

"Tough. Get your butt out of bed and quit bellyaching." I throw a suit at him.

Indiana frowned at me and sighed as he began pulling off his pants before he froze.

"America, can you, ehem." He waved me away with his hand.

"Oh sorry." I walked out of the room completely red.

As I waited for Indiana to get ready I went over the agenda for the meeting. I had a really bad feeling about this meeting. There is a lot of tension in the council right now and I feel like anything can cause a war.

When Indiana walked out of his bathroom he smiled at me and spun. He looked so much better. His eyes were more aware, he had shaved his face, and combed his hair and thanks to my ice bath this morning his hair was neat and not stringy.

"Do I look like I just lost my wife?" Indiana asked.

"Nope." I smiled at him.

"Great!" He put on a false grin.

Before we left I touched up my makeup and hair. When we left, I looked at the both of us and laughed. You don't really dress up for these kind of things. I usually throw on a random dress in my closet and call it good.
