I was sitting at the dinner table with Alivia and Luna Rose when America called. I answered the phone to a really pissed America. In fact she was so pissed that I couldn't understand a word she said and I had her repeat the whole thing when she composed herself.

"I need you and Alivia to fill in for Lorelei and Elijah in a meeting that the Chancellor called with us. I need representatives and Lorelei and Elijah aren't going." America explained while in a rush.

"Wait why aren't Elijah and Lorelei going?"

"I don't know!" She yelled.

"Oh okay, I guess Alivia and I will go." I stammered.

"What are we going to?" Alivia yelled from the kitchen.

"America is asking us to go to a meeting." I responded to my wife.

"Why aren't Lorelei and Elijah going to the meetings? I thought they were representatives?" Alivia asked.

"I don't know."

"What about Luna Rose? Who will watch her?" Alivia asked.

"Hey Liv, you can drop Luna Rose off at my house and Eden can watch her." America offered.

"Okay, this meeting shouldn't take to long should it?"

"I don't think so."

"Alright I guess we will see you in a minute America." I said as I ended the call on the Com device.

Alivia grabbed Luna Rose who was sleeping and loaded her into the Jeep.

"What do you think this is about?" Alivia asked me as she buckled in Luna Rose.

"It has to be important or else America wouldn't have asked us to come." I chimed in.

"Yea." Alivia's eyes fell slightly and I could tell she was fearing the worst.

"Maybe it won't be so bad." I tried to be optimistic but it even sounded fake to me.

"Let's just try to get through this." Alivia got into the passenger seat.

"Mommy where are we going?" Luna Rose asked as she opened her eyes.

Alivia turned around and answered,"Mommy and Daddy have to go to a meeting for a while and so you are going to spend a little time with Eden."

"Yay Eden!" Luna Rose smiled.

"Yeah, Mommy knew you would like that." I answered while still looking at the road ahead of me.

The car was silent as we drove to America's apartment. It was so silent in the car that Alivia jumped when my Com went off. I quickly picked it up because I was desperate to break this suffocating silence.

"Are you almost here? We are going to be a little late." America asked.

"Yes America we are almost there. What's going on that is so important you need the both of us?"

"I have a really bad feeling." America answered before hanging up.

I turned to Alivia for a second and she grimaced.

"I don't necessarily like the sound of that." Alivia acknowledged.

I frowned but kept driving. As soon as we dropped Alivia off at America's apartment we were on our way to the conference.

"Ugh I haven't done this in years, it's such a strange experience now." Alivia laughed.

The feeling in the car was now to morbid for Alivia's bright energy.
