It was evening and we were all in Nandini's room. By we, i mean Alia, Dhruv, Nandini, me and the asshole Cabir.

Cue eye roll.

Abhi and Mukti went out for some lone time. While Dhrulya over here were in deep discussion about probably Alia's latest fashion ideologies.

Cabir was busy talking to Nandini, due to which she wasn't giving me attention.

And the worst part was that I couldn't really sit too close to her. Anybody could enter here anytime.

And now is not the right time to let her family know about us. I just wanna take it slow. And I want Amma & Appa to trust me to take care of their daughter. I know that whatever happens she is in my future and i will do anything to make sure it remains that way. Even if i have to take it slow.

"Itna ghoor mat... Teri hi hai vo." Cabir whispered in my ear. And that is when I realised that I was staring at her all this while which made her shy.

"Hai toh voh meri hi... Lekin tu hone kahan de raha!" I replied annoyed with his constant chitter chatter with My Nandini.

"Achha?" He cocked his brows and I smacked him on his face.

"Oye! Not my face yaar... I still have to plan my future." Nandini giggled at his nonsense and i looked in her direction.

Cabir suddenly picks up his phone and talks animatedly. "Choti, will talk to you later." Nandini nodded and looked down and played with her earrings.

You owe me bro! Cabir mouthed to me and went away to give us some lone time. I smiled at him like a kid and he shook his head.

"Idhar aao." I motioned her to come closer to me when i saw her playing with her earrings with a frown.

She without a argument came and sat closer to me. Pulling her hands away from her ears i put a tendril behind her ear. Her ears were red.

"When it's hurting you then you should take them off, silly!" I patted her head and started pulling her earrings out and she winced. "Is it hurting too much?" I asked rubbing her now empty ear. She nodded negatively and i went too work on her other ear. After taking them out i put them in my pocket.

"Thank you!" She smiled.

"Oh really? Thanks? Voh bhi mujhe?"

"Achha! Ab ni bolungi!" She said with a cute pout.

"You are so cute, baby!" I pinched her cheeks and she slapped my hands away.

"My sweet cheeks!" She rubbed her cheeks tenderly and I laughed. "Haso haso. Iss massoom si bachhi pe haste hue sharam nahi ati?" She said dramatically and wiped a fake tear.

"Sharam toh aati hi nahi hai mujhe!" I went closer to her and she sucked in a sharp breath. "Jis din sharam karni band kar di uss din you will be the one who will do blushing!" I whispered in her ears huskily and she shivered visibly. I could see goosebumps on her skin and this made me happy.

"Nandini..." I inhaled near her neck. Her fragrance does something to me. It has this overwhelming affect on me. Like i am just drawn towards her. And no, I don't mean this in a sexual way. It's pure feeling.

"Manik?" She put her hand on my face and caressed my stubble. "Hmm?" I asked still lost in her presence.

"Tumhare saath mujhe kya ho jata hai?"
My eyes popped out at her question.
