Also a quick question, How do you like the new nickname (Flower) for Nandini?

-AUTHOR~

Morning came a little too early in Murthy house. Since Nandini's Appa dealed in event management it was quite easy for him to arrange the tents and caterers quite efficiently.

Amma woke Nandini and Naina early, the bua's and fufaji's were staying in the house only. Because if a house is not full of relatives then it doesn't look like a celebration. Since they lived in a joint family there were loads of people and the house was always buzzing with energy.

Shouts could be heard all over the house ordering people to do this and do that.

"Nandu! Go check on Naina. And make sure you're wearing green okay?" Amma asked Nandini and she hurried inside to look at Naina.

She didn't find Naina in the room, she went on the terrace and there she saw her sister quietly talking on the phone with a blush. With a smirk she went and snatched her phone, "Jiju, ab toh aap kuch din mai le hi jayenge inhe, i am thankful to that, but abhi talk to her later." Nandini spoke not giving Prem a chance to say something and continued, "She needs to get ready aakhir aapke naam ki mehndi jo lagwani hai..." She teased and hung up. Naina stood their with her hands on her waist scowling at her sister. "Nandu!" She smacked her shoulder and then the cat fight started. Both ran behind each other trying to get a hit at each other. They were laughing and having a fun time.

Appa saw them and had tears in his eyes Knowing that these were the last few days when he will see both of his daughters this carefree. Blessing them on his mind he left the place letting them have this time to themselves.

"Ahh! Nandu!" Naina stopped breathing heavily. Nandini stopped too and sat beside Naina. Naina grabbed water for them and both sisters sat on the mattress piled up on the terrace.

"Kitne time baad itna maza aaya hai!" Naina spoke looking wistfully, "ab toh fir kabhi aise mauke nahi milenge..." She sighed.

Nandini's eye's watered. "Di? Aisa kyu hai? Shaadi ke baad this doesn't have to change..." Nandini said waving her hands around.

"Nandu, shaadi ke baad kuch cheeze badal jaati hai, zimedaariya badh jaati hai... And ab mere jaane ke baad tu hi ghar ki badi beti maani jayegi..." Nandini shook her head.

"Vo aapki jagah hai di, iss ghar ki badi beti hamesha tum hi rahogi... Mai toh bas Amma Appa ki jhalli Nandini hoon..."

"Badi ho ja Nandini, Ab bachhi nahi hai tu. Yeh sab gudde-guddi ka khel nahi hai..."

"Di? Tum aunty jaisi baat mat karo yaar..."

"What aunty? Tere ko sikha rahi hoon kuch. Dekh Nandu, mai chali jaungi 3-4 din mai fir Rishu, Amma and Appa ka dhyan tujhe hi rakhna hai. Ab tujhe samjhna hoga. Yeh bachpana kam karde..."

"Okay..."

"Arre tu toh dukhi ho gayo hai!" Naina muttered, "Toh ab mai kya gaana gau? Tum jaa rahi ho..."

"Chal suna de na yaar gaana... Itna time ho gaya teri meethi si awaaz sune hue..." Naina smiled cherishing this moment with her sister.

Naina didn't knew that there would be a day where she would ask Nandini to sing, she didn't knew that one day she with all her heart praise her sisters voice. She loved to irritate Nandini by making fun of her but today she just couldn't.
