NANDINI'S POV:
"Hello?" I say groggily with my eyes still closed.
"Betu! Kab uthegi?"
"Amma bas 5 minute aur..." I say before hanging up and snuggling more into my pillow.
My phone rings again interrupting my time with my love aka sleep.
"Betu uth jaa... Subah ke 8:30 baje hai! Class nahi jaana kya?" Amma asks making me smile.
"Aaj class nahi hai..." I say with a voice infused with sleep.
"Chal thik hai! But bhut der ho gayi. Ab uth jaa! 10 minute mai call karungi tab tak tu uthi honi chahiye." She says and hangs up.
Putting my phone aside i sleep again. God know that i wont get this wonderful time to sleep again.
Vaise bhi i slept late last night.
AFTER 20 MINUTES. (8:50)
My phone rang again.
I sat up on my bed irritated. Amma can never let me sleep peacefully.
Uff.
Rubbing my eyes i pick up the call not bothering to see who it is.
As i know apart from Amma there is no one who can call me this early.
"I am up! I am up! Amma. Aiyappa! Amma aap mujhe sone nahi de sakti na?"
"Aapki meri neend se kya dushmani hai? I was having such wonderful dreams!" I say huffing in anger but all i hear is laughing from the other end.
Which doesn't sound like my Ammas laughter.
I check the caller Id. And
FUCK!
Manik? Shit! He must think of me as crazy.
"I am sorry." I say biting my lip totally embarrassed.
"God! So cute." He says before laughing more.
Can he stop laughing?
"Its not funny!" I say grumpily.
"Ohh! Someone is grumpy!" He teases.
"Really Manik? Ek toh Amma is not letting me sleep and then you broke me from my wonderful date!" I say with a pout.
"Wait... What? A date?" He shouts.
"Arre why are you shouting. Mere kaan kharan ho jayenge..." I say.
"With whom are you out on a date this early?"
Did he not realise that i was a minute earlier sleeping.
"With my love! Ofcourse."
"What? But..." He asks confused and i burst out laughing.
"Manik! I was on a date with my bed. And we totally slept together." I say calming his worries.
"Ohh..." He says and laughs.
"So? Tumhe meri yaad itni subah kaise? Wait... I thought you never woke early?" I ask.
MANIKS POV:
"What to tell Nandini! Since the day i met you i am doing things which are not me" I think. Yeah sure if i tell her this then she will think of me as a nutcase which i have turned into since the day i met her!
Does that even makes sense? Who cares!
"Manik?" I break away from my thoughts hearing her voice.
God! Why do i get lost every time?
