Preparing For The Tournament

Y/n POV

I was currently flying Goten and Trunks to Kami's Lookout and they kept pointing out beautiful views and they would boast about how hard they were going to kick my butt.

"You boys better be able to put your money where your mouth is. Now I'm all fired up and expecting a fight."

I flashed a grin and they did the same, I'm really hoping to help them achieve a new form before the tournament. Super saiyan 2 would be nice but super saiyan 3 or even 4 would be better. Though I think they may be a ways off from super saiyan 3 and 4, and now that I think about it they can't achieve super saiyan 4. I frowned as I remembered that they don't have tails, I wanted to see them in that form and it was kinda boring being the only super saiyan 4 out of all the saiyans. Hell, I was the only one to achieve super saiyan 3 as well, atleast as far as I know.  I was snapped out of my thoughts as I saw the lookout, I slowly lowered myself and the boys to the ground and set them down. We began to walk toward the Time Chamber but we saw Mr. Popo and Dende and decided to say hi.

Dende: "Hey guys, came back up for some training huh? You're free to use it as you wish."

Mr. Popo: "Ah, my favorite student and the halflings. One day you two will experience Popo's training. I swear it."

The boys laughed nervously as I shook my head.

"Yeah Dende the world tournament is coming up soon and I wanted to help them grow stronger, plus a little training for myself never hurts. You guys ready?"

I ruffled their hair as they nodded, we waved goodbye to Popo and Dende and walked into the chamber. The settings were set to a year inside for every day outside. My girls aren't gonna be too happy with not seeing me for a day but I'll make it up to them. I could take them out on dates, that should do it. The boys and I walked out into the white abyss that is the hyperbolic time chamber and I stopped about 15 feet from the building as the boys walked 5 more feet then turned toward me. The three of us got into our fighting stances as I waited for them to make the first move.

Goten POV

I love sparring with Trunks and Uncle Y/n, though he's more of a brother to me than an Uncle but that's a story for another time. Usually he makes the first move so I'm surprised that he's waiting. I looked to Trunks and he did the same, we nodded and charged at Y/n. I went to kick him in the gut from the right but he used his arm to block it and push me away as I somersaulted back a few feet. I saw that Trunks did the same on the other side and had the same outcome. Trunks charged again as I sent a ki volley toward Y/n, as the dust cleared I saw that Trunks landed a hook to Y/n's jaw but my ki blasts did nothing. I expected the outcome on my end but I'm surprised Trunks landed a hit. Then it hit me, and by it I mean the fact that Y/n must have had a plan but I also mean it as in Trunks. Seems he was grabbed by the leg then thrown at me as we tumbled on the ground for a few feet. We quickly got back up as Y/n approached slowly.

Y/n: "Come on boys, surprise me. Give me a good spar, otherwise I'll just fly back and force Gohan to come and train."

My eyebrows furrowed in anger as Trunks and I went super saiyan. Y/n smirked and motioned for us to come at him. Trunks and I charged at the same time trying to land a flurry of kicks and hits but Y/n was fast with his blocking. He can't block forever though, and as that thought went through my head I realized that Y/n had grabbed Trunks by the arm and was grabbing my leg. He crossed his arms over themselves and flung us in opposite directions sending a ki blast at both of us.

Y/N POV

I cracked my neck and then my knuckles before I went super saiyan. Seems these two would be the only ones gaining anything from this training, though I can't complain. It's nice to spend time with the both of them, we dont do it often. I saw them get up and jump and land next to eachother. Goten began to charge a kamehameha as Trunks charged a final flash. The beams combined as I unleashed a big bang attack. Their attacks clashed with my own and it seemed pretty even until I went super saiyan 2 and quickly overwhelmed them. I powered tmdown to base form and walked over to them.

"Hehehe, sorry guys I kinda cheated. Round 2?"

They nodded as i helped them up, but before round 2 would start that knew that food was needed. We went back to the building in the Time Chamber chatting casually and eating before we continued our training.

And I'm back!! Sorry for the long wait, hope I didnt lose too many readers. It's good to be writing again, do you guys want longer chapters?? I kinda just did this one a little quick to get something out for you guys but are you guys fine with around 1000 words like my other chapters? Anyway let me know and I'll see ya next time!
