"Don't.....look....." Kyojuro releases the hand, when the sensation stops, and he's breathing hard.
He chooses to listen to the healer. After all, he or she knows what he's doing, and they were willing to listen to him. The hands leave his sound, and he hears the sound of small,, ringing bells and fabric or a short moment, before the blindfold is removed from his eyes.
He looks at his saviour for the very first time.
It's a man with short blond hair, a grey coloured blindfold over his eyes, his skin was pale, and he wore grey gloves matching his blindfold, with what seemed to be an elaborate steel collar around his neck that was connected to a silver locket loosely hung around his neck. Upon the locket was a pendant with the shape of a five petalled flower, coloured crimson red. The chain is silver and black, with intricate vines carved along it.
He wore a simple navy blue hakamata on the outside, while within, he wore what seemed to be a numerous layers of clothes, from there he wore a white long sleeved undershirt within, to which he caught the glimpses of arm guards between the sleeves of the hakamata and the inner layers, and the inner most layer was a pair of criss crossed light grey fabric, which seemed thick and of a material he could not recognise.
Kyojuro began to think. Why would the man not show him his eyes, or his hands?
"Are you a demon?" He spoke bluntly. In retrospect, that was the first thing which came to his mind.
The man smiles, soft and gentle, and ponders.
Kyojuro searches for a possible weapon to use, but he knows it's mostly for naught especially with the growing pain in his chest which gnaws at his strength, and binds him to the bed. The fact that he can't use his legs puts him at an even greater disadvantage in the face of a demon.
He feels somewhat annoyed at how he came back to life. Recovered to a point where he was still alive, only to be eaten by a demon. Did demons heal their victims to harvest their flesh? That begged a new question.
The demon shakes his head, and pulls of his glove, reaching beneath the folds of his robes and pulls out a vial of translucent blue liquid.
Kyojuro recognises it as Wisteria essence. The man opens it up, and pours a small drop on his hand, and there is no reaction.
That is enough to convince Kyojuro that this man meant him no harm, at least, even though there were some demons who could withstand the Wisteria, but it did not affect him in the slightest.
On the other hand, the blue liquid seemed to taunt him, and staring at it seems to burn him. It's scent, while intoxicating, presents itself as a veiled threat, and his head hurt sharply, at its sharp, sweet and yet almost entirely bitter scent. He did not recall Wisteria essence smelling as such, but it was transparent in its purest form.
He slowly sits up, as he leans against the wall, and looks at his saviour, who pours him another glass of water and offers it to him.
