Masahiko's gaze is silent and careful, as he places Kyojuro in a recovery position, alarmed and yet not completely as the previous Flame Hashira begins to cough up blood and bleed heavily.
"If he got possessed before, then this should not be the first time. I need the details," He speaks, voice no longer gentle but instead, firm and commanding, as he holds a hand out in the snow. The temperature was too cold out here, and they needed to move him inside.
Hesitation weighs itself in the air.
"It happened when he tried to do something to increase his body temperature. Shoulder and chest movements, maybe something to do with the lungs," Naki speaks, voice grim and reluctant.
Kyojuro bleeds out in the snow, as Himura begins to bind his wounds temporarily and ensures that he isn't choking or drowning in his own blood.
"Masahiko. Try it." She spoke, as Masahiko stared at her through his blindfold. He kneels down to Kyojuro, who's eyes are dim, and yet lit with savage desperation and paradoxically, a guilty resignation. Masahiko removes his gloves, as he stabs a knife through the palm of his hand, and sheathing the knife, pulls out another vial and lets the blood drip from his fingers and palm into the vial filled with a mixture of two layers, the bottom crimson red, the middle transparent and it was topped off with a layer of his own blood.
He covers it with the cap, and swirls it before shaking it several times, and he opened it up and placed it in front of Kyojuro.
"Demon. Release him."
Kyojuro reaches out for the vial, and he tries to knock it away but Himura catches his mangled arm as he tries to do so.
"My apologies for what I will have to do to you," Masahiko sighs as he holds Kyojuro's neck and forces the vial down his throat. He seemingly chokes on it, as he struggles to not drink the liquid, but Masahiko forces him to drink it entirely, forcing his mouth open and making sure every last drop was drunk.
Kyojuro tries to cough it up, or throw it all up on the ground, but he realises he cannot.
Because he was Starving.
He needed to feed, in order to heal, in order to stay alive. Masahiko's hands are still gentle, though forceful, as he stares into where his eyes would be, hoping he could see, and let him die.
He never wanted to feast on human flesh or blood, but he's too tired to struggles against Masahiko who feeds it to him. He wants him to see, because he can't speak, or convey anything else in another form. Why wouldn't anyone understand? Why couldn't they just let him die? He was a demon. He was a liability. There was going to be blood on his hands. His hands. A tear slides down his right cheek, as his left is grey, and for a moment, both of his eyes flash grey.
Masahiko throws the vial aside, now empty and nothing but glass, and places a hand over his chest, trying to staunch it to the best of his ability as the blood soaks through his wounds. This man, was trying to keep him alive, in spite of all he ever did to him, which was cause him nothing but pain and destruction.
He feels the urge to look into his eyes.
But, he manages to reach out and tug at the goggles around his eyes, and pull them down.
Masahiko's stunned, as Kyojuro gazes directly into his eyes.
His eyes -
-
Kyojuro falls to the ground, unconscious as he was the only other person to have gazed into his own eyes. Masahiko sighs, as heslips the goggles back over his eyes and gently picks him up, and carried him into the building. The others were all silent, as Nagi leapt off of the roof and landed on the snowy ground.
