Masahiko returns to the room.

There's something off. He can't hear his patient moving.

He rings the bells on his wrists and he stands still, listening to the feedback of the sound.

After ascertaining the situation, he briskly walks over to his patient, picks him up, and carries him out of the room.

He's heavy in his arms, and there's not a reaction even as he sets him down on the futon in the living room of the cabin. He knows that the Wisteria essence must have done something to him. It was the only thing that had changed, and the window had not been broken of any sort.

He had hoped that this reaction would not happen.

To think that this would happen when he had gone out to pick up the crow that had been in a cage with the group of demons that attacked, it had both of its wings broken, messily at that. It sat on the table, after he had fed it some pain killers, and it stared at him, cawing when it saw his patient.

He placed his finger on his artery, feeling for a pulse, and it was slow, but present. He closes the door to the room willed with incense, as he opens one of the grailed windows in the main room, letting a breeze into the room, and clear the cabin of any scent of Wisteria. His breathing evens out, as Masahiko watches his patient with a concerned gaze behind his blindfold.

It was only there for show.

He returns to the Wisteria filled room, as he picks up the small bag of items he had left inside, bringing them out into the main room and setting them on the table, where the crow sat as well.

He pulls out more tools and items from the drawer, motioning for the crow to go over, as he brings up bandages and a splint.

He knows it's cocking its head at him, but it never the less complies.

He gets to work.
