-One Week Later-
Theo's POV-
"Finally I get a moment with you alone." Said my mom coming into my room after Emily left. "What's up?" I asked and she sat down on my bed. "Why did you and Lia break up?"
The question made me want to cry but it made me angry at the same time. I turned away as I knew she's gonna be disappointed in me.
"What happened Theodore?"
"I.... I cheated on her." She sighed. "She must really love you." I turned to her. What?
"She told me things just didn't work out between you two.. I knew she was lying, but I didn't want to poke." Why would she say that?
"I'm disappointed in you. I really am." She stood up. "I regret it. I love her mom. But she doesn't want me anymore... So I have to move on." She nodded. "And she does too. Emily's a nice girl.. Her and Lia get along well.."
"And it kills me." I said. "You made your bed, now you gotta lay in it. I love you son, but lately some of your decisions haven't been the best."
I want to talk to Lia.. "I'll be back." I said getting up.
When I drove to her house, she was standing outside of her doorway with a dude. I've seen him at the country club... I suck at reading mouths but she's smiling and blushing... I'm too late. Fuck me. He placed her loose hair behind her ear. I can't watch this.
Lia's POV-
"Thank you for the ride Ty." He smiled. "No problem... say.. would you wanna hang out with me sometime?" I smiled as I nodded. "There's a party coming up over at the country club on Friday."
"I'm working it." "Are you serious?" I nodded. "Then I'll let you know on Friday when we can hang out."
"Okay." I smiled.
"So who is he?" Beth wiggled her eyebrows as I closed the door. "A friend." I blushed.
"Mhm a friend. He's cute." I smiled. "He is." She crossed her arms and I sighed. "We're just friends.. casual.. We're not looking for anything serious. Its more of a summer fling. I'm done with long distance relationships. We're just having fun for the summer." She smiled. "Ali told us what happened."
"What do you mean?"
"The real reason why you and Theo broke up." I looked down. "Why didn't you tell us that?" I shook my head. "All of our friends hated him until I spoke to them.. I didn't want that with you guys too." She smiled. "You still love him?"
"Will I ever not?" She came over and hugged me. "He was your first boyfriend and you really loved each other. You still do.. so no. You'll always have love for him. But you have to do what's best for you. And the only one who knows what's best for you, is you. If some day down the road you two get back together that's your decision to make." I squeezed her. "I love you. Thank you."
"I love you too baby."
"Llllllll" I turned to Madi. I scooped her up and she laughed. I attacked her with kisses and she died of laughter. "Do you work tomorrow?" "No."
"Lets have a girls day. You, me, Madi and Alice." I smiled and nodded.
