38. Dream Girl

-Week Later-

Theo's POV-

We're all in a meeting. "Okay its time to choose our dream girl. You guys can put your nominations in. I've already had a few girls sign up but we'll go over those after nominations." Said Zach.

Every year we choose a dream girl. Basically a girl from another sorority that goes above and beyond for us. Last year it was Cass from Alpha Delta Pi. The year before that it was a girl from Delta. "Emily Taylor. Delta Delta Delta." I said.

"Who's Emily?" Asked Jared. "Yeah who's Emily?" Asked Trevor. "My girlfriend.. she's helped out the last few months of the last semester."

"Emily had ran a few errands. Nice girl." Said Zach. "Anyone else have suggestions?"

"Lia!" Yelled Diego. "Yeah" everyone agreed and I sighed. "Lia cooks for us. She cleans. She goes to football games. Helps out with parties. She's the definition of our dream girl."

"Cierra too." Said Matt. "What about Alyssa from Pi?"

-A Few Weeks Later-

The new brothers seem chill. A few are football players..


Lia's POV-
I grabbed my dress and set it on my bed. The dream girl will be chosen tonight.. Its like a whole beauty competition which I have never done. Cas has helped me prepare for it.

They have a swim suit segment, a talent segment, and the final why they should be chosen with an evening gown. Honestly these boys are so extra. I haven't spoken to any of them in two weeks which is weird but they can't speak to the girls until competition.. All in case of favoritism.

We waited in a separate room until we were called up to go. People from all the Greek organizations are here. First part is swim suit. I'm in an olive greenish gray swim suit but the top is kind of like a . I put on matching heels. "Starting off with the Alpha Beta Theta girls." I heard. "Good luck babe." Said Cierra and I smiled.

We chatted and fixed each others hair and makeup until we heard Alpha Delta Pi. Cierra was first and the crowd loved her. "Next up Cordelia Laughlin." Cheers mainly from the guys and I just laughed.

For the talent portion, I made a very quick painting of the Beta house and their symbols. I drew a few of their faces as well. "Brava brava!"

I put on my low cut, sparkling red long sleeved dress. I absolutely love the two slits at the I put my heels on. Cierra has on a bright blue gorgeous dress and everyone else has on neutral colors.

Cierra's answer was pretty good. Honestly I don't care about the title, I only did this because I found out the guys nominated me for this and I couldn't say no. I love them.

"Okay Lia." Zach spoke. "Why should you be our dream girl?"

"I was introduced to you guys because of my sorority. I cleaned for you guys, I cooked for you guys all without even knowing about a dream girl. Everything I do for you guys is because I want to and because I genuinely care for you guys. Some of you are on the football team.. I have been moved up in my athletic training courses and volunteer hours that I am now a part of the football medical staff, so now not only will you see me in the Beta house but you'll see me on those sidelines cheering you on and helping rehabilitate you with your injuries and help prevent them. Win or lose tonight, I love you guys. You're my brothers and I'm so thankful to have you guys in my life."

The room went "awwww."

"Thank you Lia."

As they deliberated, we ate. Sean from Tau had brought us wings. Out of all the girls, they chose 5 finalists. Cierra, myself and three other girls from three different sororities, unfortunately Emily isn't one of them and I can tell Theo is pretty pissed.

As we stood on the little stage, the boys talked amongst themselves.

"Ok ladies, we have made our decision. Runner up is..... Amanda from Gamma Phi Beta." Everyone clapped for her as they handed her a sash and a single rose.

"Now before we announce our dream girl.. just know that you'll have over 200 bodyguards basically. We'll always have your back.... So our Dream Girl is.... Lia from Alpha Delta Pi!" Woah what? Me?! I turned to Cierra so confused and she laughed.

Matt put on the "Dream Girl" sash on me as Jared literally put a tiara on me and Diego handed me a big bouquet of roses.

I dropped myself on the couch, in between Trevor and Chad. "Who knew beauty competitions were exhausting? My feet hurt." They chuckled and Chad brought my feet up and started massaging them.

"You are an angel." He chuckled. "That was the easiest decision Ive ever had to make." Said Jack.. "Sorry Emily.."

A bunch of us are chilling in their lounge. She just gave him an awkward smile. "I don't think anyone has ever done as much as you have honestly." Said Diego. "I love you guys." I shrugged.
