*three weeks later (day of Jessica's wedding)*
Today was Jessica's wedding and I was helping her into her dress. "Dani, I'm nervous", she tells me as she takes a few deep breaths. I smile at her and turn her around so she's facing me. "You'll be fine. It's okay to be nervous"
"How do I look?"
"Like the most beautiful girl in the world", I smile at her. My eyes begin to tear up as I look at my little sister in her wedding dress, "You look so beautiful, Jess. You make the most perfect bride", I whisper. She pulls me into a hug as I kiss her head. "It's go time!", I tell her as I hold out my hand for her to grab.

The ceremony had just ended and my sister and Devon had ran out of the church to head to the reception hall. I stayed behind talking to a few of the guests that were invited, trying to steer clear of my parents. I occasionally caught my mother looking over at me but it was nothing but looks of disappointment.
"Hey, I'll talk to you later", I excuse myself from an old family friend as I head outside the church to answer my ringing phone, "Hello?", I hear noise on the other line as I hear someone shushing everyone, "Hey, Daniella!"
"Sebastian? Hey!"
"I just wanted to call to tell you that I'm leaving New York later on today so I thought that maybe we could meet up one last time before I leave?", he says as he shushes the people in the background again. "Today?"
"Are you busy?"
"It's my sisters wedding today, Seb", I sigh. "Oh"
"Yeah.."
"So I guess this is goodbye then. I'll be back in two weeks for my wedding but I won't have time to meet up with you, I'm sorry", he sighs. A lump forms in my throat as I lean against the brick building. "Hey, it's okay. It's fine. Congratulations to the both of you. I wish you both the best of luck!", I tell him, but deep down my heart was hurting. "Dani wait-"
"Goodbye, Seb. You take care of yourself, okay? And remember what I told you, okay? You need to be happy and you need to stop doing things to benefit other people and things that make them happy when you're not. I hope Kara makes you happy"
"Dani, hold on-"
"Goodbye, Seb", and with that I hang up the phone. I close my eyes as a few tears roll down my face. I was so stupid to think that whatever I felt with Sebastian would actually turn into something. He was getting married to Kara Huffman for crying out loud. In less than two weeks Sebastian Stan would be a married man and I'd never see him again. My main source of happiness for the past month and a half would be gone.
