Chapter nineteen

Authors POV

Throughout the week, the pair stayed at Mia's house for a few nights. Mia's siblings came over with their kids, so Ellie can interact with other kids. While the siblings and their mum caught up deciding that they should head over to Rottnest Island for 4 days before the gala that both the Tomas's and Blacks held a Gala.

The siblings and their kids, Nick and Ellie were sitting on the sand. "Do you enjoy playing mum?" Brenna asked her younger sister, Mia smiles at her sister.

"It's being nice, but I am not playing mum," Mia replied to her sister. "Well, she definitely likes you," Luis tells his younger sister, Mia nods.

 She knows that her siblings will keep this up for the rest of the trip. "Mimi, come over here and have a look at this we found a snake" Leo her only nephew said, making all of them jump up racing over to them. 

"How about we go get something to eat" Andrea suggests to the kids. They looked up and walked away from the baking tiger snake.

The siblings, their partners, had a wonderful retreat at Rotto able to learn more about Nickolas and Ellie.

Nickolas and Miahla lay in bed, nick playing with Mia's long dark blond hair as she rubbed circles on his bare waxed chest. "Do you wax your chest hair?" Miahla asked Nickolas looked down at the women he likes so much.

Smiling "Just for you" he whispered. The pair chuckled "I think they like you and Ellie," Mia tells her.. whatever he is. That's what came to her mind. 

"Hey, can I ask you a question?" She asked him, he nodded as he sat up, bringing her up with him. "Sure, what's your mind." He asked her. "What are we" Mia spits it out, he looked at her taking a piece of her hair, tucking it behind her ear. He smiles with a slight sigh.

Mia's mind was racing Carp, oh god he will dump me and we aren't even together. She didn't even realise that he was talking to her and smiling. "Mia," he said "Hu?" She replied

 "I asked you if you wanted to be my girlfriend," he asked her she grinned nodding he crashed his lips on hers. They did nothing but make out. Laying together, the new boyfriend and girlfriend slept with each other happy.

Morning broke on the morning they were to leave Rotto. The pair were still in the position they were in last night. Their door was closed somehow all the kids including Loralie got into their room and jumped onto their bed, waking them up. 

The pair groaned as Brenna walked into their room. "Guys come one, how about we get ready to head out for breakfast," She told the kids and Mia and Nickolas letting them know they had to get up since they would leave late morning.

After the wake-up calls Mia and Nickolas, they shower separately and head out for breakfast with each other and the kids. The kids sit with each other while the adults sit with each other. 

"So Mia, when are you two going to have kids?" Oliver asked. Mia and Nick chocked on their food. "Excuse me?" Mia asked her younger brother. 

"When are you two going to have kids?" Kiera asked "No, we aren't even engaged, we are still getting to know each other" Mia replied

"Well, I heard from someone that this function is an engagement party for you and a charity event," Brenna asked. Nickolas sighed as Mia looked at him. 

"Yes, but we won't be engaged, it's more for a merging of companies," Nickolas said in his business tone voice. 

Their discussion continued between the older siblings and younger siblings about having kids and how they wanted more nieces and nephews, putting pressure on the younger siblings.

Jay's POV

Rickard Black and I are sitting in my home office talking about merging instead of fighting. Somehow I came back to somewhat of my normal values of helping, sharing and doing good instead of tearing down someone else's company that they could have built by themselves with no one's help like did from my grandfather.

"So Mr Tomas. I am thinking our companies we both have very different views, you and I would like to save some land but also want to sell land sacred to the people of Australia. If we merge, we will do both, my son could learn off you and your daughter can of both of us," Mr Black told me.

 I sighed, rubbing my chin. "Yes, that is a good idea, though the only thing is my daughter will not do it, she hates this stuff, yes she has an amazing mind on how to deal with people. She also has a lot of medical conditions. And finally, I would rather my youngest to take over my company, he has been working so hard to get to where he is, he stayed in Perth to study while she went off to North Carolina," Jay told his potential new business partner.

"I would still like to do this deal with you. I can see so much potential, maybe she could be the stay at home wife," Mr Black told me. He crossed a line.

I may be one of the old-time stereotypical men that likes dinner on the table when I get home, but a wife isn't a maid she is there to care for the kids and husband it may be the same.

"Please don't talk about my daughter like that. Look My kids are all over at Rottenness how about we talk about this at the charity event?" I asked hoping it would ease the madness he was speaking.

"That sounds good, Mr Tomas. I will see you on Saturday evening. I hope the rest of your children come too," he asked me.

Mia's POV

On our way back All the kids wanted to sit with me and Nick, and we just wanted some alone time, though we got out alone time over in Rotto while my siblings kindly looked after Ellie for Nickolas, they didn't have to but they did.

"Mr Nickolas" I heard Lexie asked, ever since Lexi and Jade have been around Ellie they have learned so much, in particular how she would speak to someone they didn't really know. 

"Yes Lexie" he replied, "Ellie says you live near Niagara Falls," Lexie asked, "Do you get wet all the time?" She asked inquisitively, I had to chuckle.

 "No, we don't. When we pass it sometimes, our car can get wet, but that depends on what type of weather it is. If it's windy, we can get wet." he told Lexie. "Daddy where are we staying?" Ellie asked. Mia smiled 

"How would you like to stay with me and my mum, and while a dad is doing some work, I can take you maybe to the Perth Zoo or somewhere that you would like to go," I asked Ellie. Smiling, she nodded. "But we are staying at your dad tomorrow night because we have the charity event," I told Ellie. "Do we get to come?" Leo asked. 

"I think you will have to ask your parents," Nick told them. I had no clue. I knew they all got a late invite, but I'm not sure if the kids are coming, however, It would be nice if they did especially Leo, since he and Ellie have become good friends or I guess cousins.
