Chapter 5

The Android slept peacefully as Gavin did this, he shifted a bit in the bed curling up into a ball, his hair was messy and his LED started blinking blue. Gavin stretched, going to his closet and picking out an outfit. A forest green t-shirt and distressed jeans with black vans. He smiled, glancing back a few times before going to change into his selection of clothing. He brushes his teeth, humming to a song from a musical made when he was a kid. (cough cough) He brushes his hair and then slicks it back a bit. He heard Gavins sink and slowly got up as he LED turned yellow "hmm" the Android groaned as he got up and made the bed. The Android walked to Gavin's bathroom and hugged him from behind "Morning" he said as put his head on Gavin's shoulder.

"Good morning Nines," he said, leaning his head on the androids for a bit. He then kisses Nines' temple and goes to do another chore. Before going to work he starts and finishes multiple chores. The android smiled and walked out of the bathroom, he saw the cats sitting next to their bowl and he bent down oetting them then taking there bowls and filling them with food, after he finished that he refreshed their water. He looked over at his clothing and gripped the button up and pants. Gavin watched and waited for Nines, petting the fluffy cats. He smiles, watching the wholesomeness portrayed by Nines. He sighed happily, rubbing two cat bellies at once.

He walked into the bedroom and changed into his clothes, he walked out still buttoning up his shirt "ready?" he asked in a sorta groggy voice. Gavin looked up, smiling and giggling a bit. "Yep," he then said, removing his hands from the cats. "Wait," Gavin said, grabbing Nines' tie and tieing it onto him, then kissing him quickly after. He smiled and let go of Nines and his tie. "Let's go to work, also, I love you!" He told Nines, slipping his jacket on and giving the android his. The Android smiled as he took his jacket and put it on, he kissed him gently on the lips and opened the door for Gavin "love you too" he replied with a small smirk.

Gavin took Nines hand after exiting the apartment and locking the door. He tried to walk as close as possible to Nines, so it wasn't obvious that they were holding hands. He smiles like an idiot, very child-like. Nines looked at Gavin and smiled "so how was last night?~" The Android asked chuckling a bit. Gavin smirked, and said, "Depends... honestly... I really enjoyed myself, I hope you did too." He looked Nines, smiling once he finishes his thought. The Android smiled "yeah I did, even though I've never experienced that before I think that was the best thing that has ever happen!" he exclaimed. Gavin jumped a little when Nines exclaimed, but then he laughs a little. "I am glad you enjoyed it," he said. His face turned from startled to softened and happy.

The Android smiled as they walked across the street to the police station  "Ill make you more green tea when we get in, alright?" "That would be great," Gavin smiled, wanting to kiss Nines' cheek, but the street was a bit crowded. He just opened the door for him and Nines instead, smiling very happily. "Thank you," the Android said as he walked through the door "I'm going to do you tea," he said as he smiled.

He followed the android to the breakdown, leaning on the table. He watched Nines. The Android took the tea bags out of the cabinet and taking a cup out as well. He filled the cup with water at putting it in the microwave "it will take about two to three minutes" He said as he walked over to the table. "Ok, thank you Nines," he said, smiling and nodding. Gavin sighed, watching the door for anyone. Not anybody in particular just bored and staring off into space. He crossed his arms, glancing up at the ridiculously tall, but adorable android, out of habit every so often.

The Android smiled and kissed him softly on the lips " your too cute Gav" he said chuckling softly. Gavin blushed, holding a hand up to his lips. He looks around nervously and sees if anyone saw. He then smiles, flustered, but happy. "Thanks, Love," he said. The Android smiled and the microwave beeped, he walked over to it and took the water outputting it into a styrofoam cup and put the tea bag in, he put the lid on and handed it to Gavin. Gavin took it. He let it steep for a bit then took a sip, melting. Gavin leans on Nines, drinking more of it.  He watches the door again, waiting to see who will walk in next. Android smiled as he closed his eyes. Connor and Hank walked through the door talking to each other.

"Heh, here they come Nines, " Gavin said, straightening himself out if that is even possible. Connor waved at both of them and walked over, Hank walked to his desk and sat down. "Hello, you two how are you guys??" Connor asked while he made Hank some coffee. Gavin waved, smiling. He stayed leaning on Nines and said, "We are fine, hope about you?" Gavin sighs slightly, taking another sip of his green tea. "doing pretty good Hank and I went to the grocery store last night and almost got locked in" Connor said chuckling. Nines smiled as he put one hand in his jacket "damn," Gavin snickered. "Why? How?!" Gavin started to laugh instead of snickering. He used Nines to hold himself up, laughing. "That sounds like so much fun, " he said sarcastically and wiping his eye. He takes a deep breath and puts his hands around his warm cup once more.

Nines laughed as he supported him "danm" Connor explained that the store was getting ready to close and the workers got lazy and weren't checking around. Gavin sipped his tea and his head and side-nodded. "Ok, sounds pretty normal, but a six-foot-tall android and a man would be obvious huh? Especially if it is Hank, a police lieutenant, " he said. He sounded logical for once in his life. Almost robotically. Nines absolutely lost it at this point "your right!! Nines put his head in his hands and started laughing "A perfect 6'0 Android and an Old man who is probably talking, wouldn't you think they would have heard them?!" He said. Gavin snickered again, looking at Connor. Connor's face is a mixture of annoyance and confusion. Thank is just his usual RBF grumpy face. Gavin leans back onto the table, making sure Nines doesn't fall or anything stupid like that. Gavin shrugs, then trying to get Nines to lean on the table instead of forward.

Connor shakes his head and takes the coffee pot, pours a cup, waves to the two and takes Hank his coffee. Nines eventually get together and their day starts with a BUNCH of paperwork for a new case. Gavin waves goodbye to the completely confused android and gets his own to their desks. He picks a file and opens it, sighing. "We have a busy day ahead of us Nines, " he says, picking up his pencil.
