Chapter 27

"Hmph!" Gavin huffs again. "That is so looooong," he whines before he re-postures himself. "Don't worry October is almost over and we will be into November and it will only be one month," he says smiling as he uses one arm to pull him into a side hug. Gavin leans his head on Nines, sighing. "I know, but like..." He tries to explain himself, then giving up, knowing he can't argue with an android. He kisses Gavin's forehead as he cooks "Don't worry baby it will all be worth it" he says smiling at him and stirs the noodles. "Hm..." He says, then picking his humming back up. He watches Nines work, smirking softly.

The Android let's go for a moment so he can drain the water and put the noodles in a bowl with sauce on it. Gavin sits back down at the table, watching Nines. "Thank you much Nines," he says, smiling, "You didn't have to do this, but thank you." "your welcome" he replies with a smile as he brings the bowl to him and goes to the fridge to get him a glass of water. Gavin starts eating, looking at his phone that was across the table, still on. "I have a bad habit of doing that, huh?" He asks Nines.

He chuckles as he cuts his phone off and hands it to him "A bit yeah" he says smiling at him. Gavin thanks him again, twirling his fork for a second before stabbing the pasta again. "Did you see what it was open to?" He asks Nines, taking another bite. "Oh no I didn't," he said looking at him "what was it?" he asks looking like him. "Nothing important," he said, shrugging. "Go ahead, sit," he said, motioning for Nines to sit instead of tower over the table. He sits down smiling "alright" he smiling as he puts his hands together. Gavin smiles, saying, "You are so damn tall... I guess it makes you faster, but like, you are so talllllll." He laughs weakly, flicking his fork carefully.

He chuckles "yeah, Connor's tall but I'm still taller than him. I think I'm 6'5" he explains as he looks at Gavin. "I am pretty sure you are taller than that..." He says, eating more of the spAGhettI. Gavin meets Nines' gaze once more. He chuckles a bit smiling "I'm not sure honestly" he replies. "Measure maybe," Gav suggests, continuing to flick the fork. "We could," he says smiling. Gavin nods and finishes his food. "Thanks again Nines," he says, getting up and putting his dishes away.  The Android smiled as he cleaned up the rest of the table "your welcome" he looked over his shoulder.

After Gavin finishes, he leans on Nines. "Should we go measure? It would be interesting to know," he says. The Android smiles "let's find a measuring tape" he says looking at him smiling. "Or a yardstick?" Gavin says, going to the 'office' they have in their flat. He comes back out anyways with a yardstick. Gavin hums a bit, standing beside Nines, then measuring. "Jeez, yep just as you estimated," he says. He chuckles a bit as he looked at him. "Really?" he asks smiling. He nods. "Yep," he says.

"Wait how tall are you?" he asks "You look about 5'9 but I'm not sure," he said. "Go ahead, measure, I am pretty sure I am a bit taller than that though," Gav says, handing it to him. The Android took the yardstick "I was right" he says chuckling a bit "You're not that short actually" he says smiling. Gavin laughed. "Wow, just barely tall enough to still put my head on your shoulder though!" He says, hugging Nines a bit. The Android bends down a bit "yeah you are" he says chuckling as he kissed his forehead.

"I love you, you ridiculously tall android," he says, smiling. Gav hugs him tighter and sighs happily. He smiles and chuckles "Love you too you goblin" he smiles and picks him up. Gavin blushes and screeches a bit. "Hey!" He says, wrapping his arms around Nines' neck, not wanting to be dropped, as small the height may be. He hugged him tightly "You're like Lila, an angry goblin" he explains chuckling a bit. "Hmph! I am not!" He says, still holding onto Nines tight. He crosses his feet around the android, securing himself. "Ok, maybe I am... Just like male and in human form..." Gav admits.

He smiled "Yeah but you both are similar" he explains sticking his tongue out. "Psh!" He scoffs. Gav laughed, "we are, but not, at the same time," he says. He kisses Nines' nose, smiling. "She's giving me the death stare now" he giggled looking into the hall. "Of course she is, she is your favourite," he teases Nines. Gavin looked along with him.  He leaned on Nines, putting his head on Nines'. "She isn't my favourite......you are!" he says happily as he smiles. Gavin smiles, giggling. "Oh of course! Me! How could I forget?" he asks, teasing a bit.

The Android smiled "of course" he kisses him softly as he rubs Gavins back. Gavin sighed softly. He leans back on Nines, happy and content. He yawns a bit, getting sleepy again. "Want to go to sleep??" he asks smiling. Gavin nods. "Yeah... I am tired..." He says, snuggling Nines a bit. He smiles "I will get you to bed and I will get the cats fed, as well as turn up the heat a bit," he says as he walks down the hall to get Gavin to bed. Gavin nods again. "I love youuuu Nines~," Gav says before almost passing out.

"I love you too~," he says kissing him softly before walking out of the room to feed their 5 kids and turn up the heat. Gavin is fast asleep for a while, talking the softest in his sleep and smiling. He walks into the bedroom and changes his clothing and cuddles against Gavin. Gavin smiles again, cuddling into Nines. "Warm..." He mumbles happily. The Android smiles and eventually falls asleep himself.

Two months passed and it was Christmas Eve, Nines and Gavin sat on the couch watching Christmas movies from Gavin's childhood. Simon, Lila, Jace and Vinny layed on them and the couch. Gavin lays down on Nines and yawns. "I dunno why I am tired, but it may be because I usually watched these before bed as a kid," he says. He liked the memories that were being pulled up with these movies. "Hey uh Nines, what do you think tomorrow will be like?" He asks, just a bit timid, for no reason in particular.

"well this will be our fifth Christmas together so that will be nice, and I'm gonna have to pick up you surprise in the morning so you'll have to stay in our bedroom so you can't see it," he said smiling as he smiled. "Hm... Ok..." He says. Gav had forgotten mostly about the surprise. "If you want me to stay in the bedroom for a bit, ok then," Gavin says, thinking. He plays with his ring a bit. He kisses him softly "It will be worth it so don't worry, Ill message you most of the time I'm gone, It will only take 20 minutes." (Since he is a legit computer so he can just use his brain to talk to him)

Gavin nods, smirking. He returns a kiss, sitting on Nines. "Ok then," he says, breaking it. Gavin smiles, sitting correctly now, but still on Nines. (In his lap bc uwuwuwuwuwuwuwuwuwuwu) He smiles as kisses him softly on the cheek and going down his neck as he plays with Gavin's ring "Love you Gavin" he says smiling. "I love you more though," he argues playfully. Gavin uses his free hand to hold onto Nines, running his fingers through his hair. He sticks out his tongue and chuckles a bit taking Gavin's left hand-kissing his ring.

Gavin laughs. "You are being dangerous, huh?" "Maybe maybe not~," he says closing his eyes and kissing Gavin's ring again. Gavin laughs softly. "Oh, I see~..." He says, closing his eyes a bit. The movie becomes background noise as Gavin talks to Nines. "favourite flower, go!" he says looking at Gavin using a free hand to run his hands through his hair. "U-uh..." Gavin stumbles, trying to think. "Uh... Lilies, wh-why?" He stammers. "There is definitely not a reason I needed to know," he said looking away innocently.

Gavin smirked. "Sure. Sure..." he laughs. The Android smiles as his kissing him softly "Love you Gav" he said kissing him again "but seriously lilies are so cuuuuuuttttttee" he said smiling. "Ok then..." He says, smiling. "Again, love you more!" He argues softly and playfully. He closes his eyes "wanna head to bed?" he asks opening his eyes again. Gavin nods. "Yea..." he says, rubbing his eyes. He holds onto Nines in a hug. He picks up Gavin as he cuts off the TV and he takes them to bed as he cut off the light. Gavin yawns, stretching. "I wonder what morning will be like..." he says, cuddling with Nines and falling asleep. "not sure but you gonna love it," he said softly as he smiled. Gavin smiles in his sleep, sighing.
