Chapter 20

The Android smiled softly and blushed "Well I didn't think I could do it either but when Android and human marriages were legalized last year I had to do something" he stated as he squeezed Gavin's hand a bit. Gavin leaned a bit more on Nines, still retaining balance. "I guess so," he says, making sure their fingers were still entwined. Gav stretches a bit, watching how the moon was almost up. The bright moon. He loved the moon for how it seemed to not like, per se, being mainly up at night, but still there during the daytime. It was a bit like him. Didn't like what he was doing until he realised something very important. "I have a question," he says looking over at Gavin with a soft smile "If I were to do something to myself would hurt momentarily but would ultimately be better in the end, would you be mad at me for doing it?" he asks as he puts his arm around Gavin.

"Depends on what that thing is," he says. Gavin gives Nines a curious look, wondering what it could be. I know it isn't suicidal... Maybe... It's... He thinks, stopping his humming. "Well it has to do with this thing" he says pointing to his LED "I've had mixed feelings about it, I don't hate it but I don't love it either" he states looking over at Gavin "and if we are getting married maybe it would be a nice change" he says smiling a bit. Gavin thinks for a bit. "If you don't like it, I can help you take it out," he says, nodding. He smiles. "It'll make you more human per se," Gav says, smiling a bit. He hopes this is a good choice. The Android smiles "Thanks Gav" he said softly kissing Gavin's temple "see why I wanted to marry you?" he asked gripping Gavins hand and smiles.

Gavin giggled. "Yea, I do," he says, gripping back softly. "I love you so much, I cannot express it enough, Nines," Gav says, brushing his hair back a bit. Nines smiles "I love you too" they enter the apartment building and they take the elevator up to their floor. Nines unlocks the door and holds it open for hin, all the cats run up to them meowing "Hello my babies!" The Android exclaimed as they walk in. Gavin laughs a bit at the sight. He picks up a cat and places them on Nines' back one by one. He laughs as he watches for Nines' reaction. He hugs Vinny for a bit, and Vinny honestly doesn't try to squirm.

Nines smiles as Simon sniffs his ring "I've already shown them to you why are you surprised?" He says sarcastically making sure they don't fall. Gavin squeals. "This is adorable!" He smiles, setting Vinny on Nines at last. None of the cats moves an inch. Vinny lays down. "Yeah uh... Love you've got some cats on you... And you know cat law!" He laughs. Then crouching down to kiss Nines on the cheek. The Android sighs "Aww but I won't be able to love on you or give you attention, sigh guess I've got to wait it out" he says sarcastically "yes I said sigh" he says chuckling a bit. Gavin laughs. He is on the floor, laughing so hard. "Ok ok..." He says, getting them off. He holds onto Lila and Jace for a bit. "My adorable kittens," he sighs. Gav kisses Nines after putting the cats down, lifting his chin.

The Android stands straight up smiling into the kiss putting his hands on Gavin's waist and pulls away for a second "I love you Gavin" Vinny climbs up Nines pant leg and up to his shoulder. "I love you more, Nines~," he says. Gav pets Vinny for a second, then he clings on Nines tightly. Gavin kisses Nines again, wrapping his arms around Nines' neck. He giggles, holding his love close. The cat jumps from Nines shoulder to the countertop, He chuckles a bit as he kisses him softly as he smiles as he takes one of his hands off of Gavin's waist and puts it in his hair and runs his hand through it. Gavin puts his head on Nines' shoulder sighing. He smiles, closing his eyes. He always dreamed of this. Tranquil excitement, he called it. Always after the extremely high excite, but still holds some energy. Gavin took a deep breath, smiling wider.

The Android smiled as he took his other hand off of Gavins his hip and rubbed circles on his back "I can't believe I cried" he said softly kissing his cheek. Gav thought for a second. "Well, the emotional pressure, it is understandable," he says softly. Gavin smiles, he liked it when Nines let his emotions show every so often, only when they were happy and sensitive ones, for certain reasons. Maybe it is cuz he can relate. The Android picked Gavin up and put his legs around his waist "Yeah I guess it is" he said softly kissing Gavin on the lips.

"Nines!" Gavin laughed, knowing where this was going. He goes along anyways, like always. He is probably just lewd, but it seems Nines would take that opportunity. He hung on Nines, not wanting to fall. The Android smiled kissing Gavin softly, he put his head on Gavin's shoulder "I love you Gavin" he said softly in the mans ear holding him close. "I love you to Nines," Gavin says, smiling. As I said, he liked it when Nines was like this, sensitive and soft. Gav snuggles Nines, closing his eyes completely. He sighs, seeing what Nines will do next. His LED beeped "Let's say goodbye to this thing" he said softly using one arm to support Gavin and the other to touch his LED "We will have to use a butter knife to give it leverage" He stated. Gavin gets down and grabs a butter knife from the drawer. He carefully sets the knife's edge where instructed, and gets it out. The LED falls with a soft clink on the tile. "How do you feel?" He asks Nines, putting the knife down.

The Android had gritted his teeth through this and after the LED fell the 'skin' around it healed as he put two fingers on his temple "It stings a bit but I'm alright"  he responded clenching his jaw. Gavin nods, putting a hand on Nines' cheek. "Ok," he says, then bending down and getting the LED, setting it on the counter. "Just making sure," Gavin says, putting his hand back on Nines' cheek, rubbing it a bit. The Android smiles "Thank you Gav" he picked up the LED examining it "Damn that was in my head" he said chuckling a bit. "Yep," Gav says. He leans a bit onto Nines, turning around so his back faces Nines' chest. Gavin watches what Nines does, then kissing his cheek, then going to the cat tree to pet the kitties.
