"yep, but hey it will be worth it todays a Saturday and tomorrow is Sunday so we don't have any work tomorrow unless its an emergency," he says happily as he scans a few of the pieces of paper into the computer. "True, true," he says. He works, scribbling out his writing and notes on it. He, as a habit, glances up every so often, making sure Nines is still there. As if he would leave. Ok, Gavin, stop being paranoid, everything is fine. Everything is ok. He thinks to himself, sighing. He re-reads his work, making sure he didn't miss anything, also making sure his handwriting is readable.

Android started writing notes on another piece of paper and scrolling through emails. About two hours pass and Cheif Fowler gets Gavin and Nines to do daily patrol around the city. Gavin stretches and hums a bit to My Shot while organising his stuff and getting ready to go. He smiles, waiting for Nines, impatiently and excitedly. He dances around a bit, humming along to the song. The Android gets up and puts all his papers in a stack. He straightens up his jacket and walks to the door with  Gavin and opens it for him. Gavin smiles and thanks to him. He grabs Nines' hand, bolder and trying not to hide it. He hopes Nines doesn't mind.

The Android smiles as the duo start their patrol. As they walk away from the station and start into the central part of the city their were groups of protesters one was an Android hate stating that Androids weren't meant to be like humans they weren't meant to live like them, they were made to serve, and the second group was trying to prove the protesters wrong.  Nines held Gavin's hand tighter as they turned the corner where the protesters were close. Gavin cowered a bit at the sight. He always hated confrontation despite accidentally being an office bully. He hated his actions, and wouldn't ever do it again until he was standing up for himself and they hit first. He shuffled a bit closer to Nines. He doesn't let go of Nines' hand but steps forward a bit. "What is going on Nines?" He asked the android, his love, the perfect Nines. He shivers a bit, wishing he had made another cup of tea before leaving. I will make myself a cup once we figure out what the heck happened and go back. He thinks to himself, shuffling closer to Nines, seeking warmth.

"Protesters.." The Android hesitated to say it but eventually did "They are all over the news right now" He said as they stopped at a crosswalk "they are trying to convince the government to turn us back to servants, but since we are all deviated only the new models would be programmed without original program" He said. Gavin hums a bit, thinking after trying to see who was there, as they were surprisingly close to the protesters. "Well, it seemed this android leading the whole shebang is an RK200 called Markus. He, not it, has seemed to successfully lead the androids and could possibly this 'rA9' character." Gavin thought aloud, biting his lip a bit. "I wonder..." He said, looking up at Nines. "You could be correct" The Android started as a few of the protester looked over at them and two of the protesters walked over to the "shit..." The Android said as he held Gavin close.

Gavin made a small noise as Nines pulled him behind. He hid a bit as the two figures walked up to them. He could feel the nervous and scared aura radiating off of Nines. He leaned on the wall they were peering around to get a better look of them, but ends up scratching his hand on the brick and almost yelling, but falling and hitting his head almost. He accidentally reveals himself by doing so. "Gav!" The Android bends down helping the man sit up and puts his hand on the man's head as a bit of blood gets on his hand. The two protesters start to yell at Nines "You fuckin Android you fuckin robots are trying to kill us!!" One of the protesters spat at Nines as he was wiping the blood off Gavin's palm and right side of his head "I'm gonna report your ass to the police then maybe the government will see we are right."

"We are the police, dumbass!" Gavin says, wincing. He sits upright. Gavin snarled and hissed a bit trying not to touch the cuts. "Why do you have to assume. Nines is amazing and the best android I have honestly met." He asked softly, then rubbing his arm. The Android blushed a bit as he looked over at the protesters who were shocked, o say the least "Fuck even our police department is fucked up !!" the protesters said as they giggled a bit. The Android looked back at Gavin and smiled "You know insulting an Officer is an offence you can be locked up for" the Android said.

"As well as physically spitting on an officer is an offence," the Android said cockily. Gavin rolled his eyes, getting up and using the wall to do so. He coughs a bit, clearing his throat. "Why exactly are you attacking a side that just wants to be free exactly?" Gavin said, then using Nines to make sure he is fully standing. "And if you think that, well, fuck you!" Gavin said, laughing a bit. "Androids are so much more than machines, you gotta understand that! I-I am not gonna argue with an arrogant dumbass anymore..." Gavin said, putting his face into Nines' shoulder. Nines kissed Gavin's temple and the Protesters didn't know what to do or say at this point so they eventually walked away. The Android looked over at Gavin "Are you alright Gav??" He said as he turned around so he could face Gavin looking at the side of his head and taking his scrapped hand. The Androids LED stayed red and slowly went down to yellow. Gavin winced a bit. He didn't want to make it worse, so he let Nines inspect him. Gavin nodded nonetheless. He truly was ok. He was happy the protesters didn't call him gay or any slur of the kind. He smiled a bit. Gavin stood still, well, trying to at least. The shock of confrontation, the icy cold, his open wounds, all made him weak. Weaker than he usually was, weaker than he thinks he is.

"I'm gonna get you home, Get you cleaned up and wrap the palm of your hand because that's a rough scrap, alright?" The Android asked as he put Gavin's cheek in his hands. Gavin nods, looking at Nines. "That sounds great, just... We have to talk to Fowler first." Gavin says, leaning with his chin on the android's shoulder. "I'll talk to him don't worry I'm just gonna get you home and ill talk to Fowler tomorrow, you are the most important thing right now besides its already 3 o'clock so we would only miss three hours of work" The Android said as he bent down "get on my back and I'll carry you." Gavin blushes, smiling. "N-Nines y-you don't have to... I can walk... T-thanks though love..." Gavin stammers. He blushes, still holding Nines' hand with his uninjured hand for one support physically, and two mentally. "Thanks though, really Nines, " he told the android, hoping to not disappoint him.

The Android looked back over to the protesters and looked down for a second with his LED shifting from red to yellow. He looked over to Gavin and smiled softly "Lets just get out of here okay?" he said a bit nervously.
