Chapter 8

Gavin sighs happily. He isn't complaining. He loves Nines and how much Nines cares for him. He finishes his little bit of food, then puts the pills in his mouth. He drinks the water and swallows them. "Again again again... Thank you thank you thank you Nines. Now, you go look if anything is wrong with you ne that I am surely alright. I may try and go to the bed in a bit, but for now, I am fine. Now please, go take some time for yourself, love, " Gavin tells the android. He holds Nines' face and kisses him lightly before laying down again.

The Android smiled softly as he cleaned up the table and washed the plate "Ill be alright don't worry" he said softly as he put stuff away and took the pill bottle back to the bathroom. He looked into the mirror and stared at himself for a good minute, it been a while since he actually looked at himself and appreciated looking at the Android in the mirror. Gavin sighs, knowing he won't win. "Still, take some time to relax, " Gavin told him, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath. He eventually falls asleep after realising there isn't a lot of space for him to stay asleep on the couch without falling, so he goes to the bed. He shuffles around a bit in the comforters, situating himself.

The Android unbuttoned his shirt and looked at himself he ran his hands through his hair messing with it. He spent a while longer looking at himself before he grabbed a pair of sweat pants and changed. He thought about what happed today and thought about what he could have done, no what he should have done. The Android eventually came out of the bathroom and feed the cats before walking into the bedroom, his LED flashed yellow and red as he kept thinking about what happened. Gavin slept peacefully, smiling a few times in his sleep. He shuffled around every so often and he gets stuck in the blankets and yells weakly. "N-Nines... Help, I can't get unstuck from the blankets, " he yells weakly, hoping Nines hears his pitiful attempt. Gavin sighs, waiting to see how long until Nines sees.

The Android snorts "how did you even do that?" He said as he shuts the door and walks over to the bed " are you alright??" He asked as he started pulling one end of the comforter. Gavin thinks for a bit, watching Nines. "I roll around in my sleep, you know this now at least. Yes, I am alright, " Gavin says smiling. He worms his way so it is easier to get the blanket untangled. He eventually gets Gavin untangled "well that's good" He giggled "you're a mess but I love you" The Android kissed Gavin softly on the lips as he covered Gavin back up with the blanket. "I'm so sorry you had to go through all of that today if I wasn't there you wouldn't have gotten hurt," He said as he went to the other side of the bed hugging his knees.

He smiled at first, pulling at the blanket over him. Gavin's face fell. "Nines, it would've been much worse if you weren't there to help," he says, sitting up a bit to look at Nines. "Please don't bring yourself down for something you did, as small as it may be, you still saved me. If you weren't logical and made them so mad they walked off, I would've still been on the ground after they tore you apart. I am serious Nines. Come 'ere," he told the android. He made grabby hands for Nines. He looked over at the man and smiled softly and hugged him "I am just glad your okay" He said as he moved down a bit so he could put his head on Gavin's shoulder "honestly I'm just confused, which is very weird to say I'm an Android we were made to have no flaws and be perfect, but look where Androids are now " he said with a softer voice.

Gavin sighed. He pulled Nines up softly and kissed him. "Your emotions are what make you human. That is another thing that makes you great. Yes, I am fine, but I can tell you hurt," he says, holding the android's face softly and looking into his eyes. He could see the pained worry in them. He rubbed his thumb on Nines' cheek. He sighs again and lays back down, hugging him. His LED flashed red and yellow in the state he was in, he chuckled a bit "Thanks..." He said quietly as he gripped onto Gavin keeping him close. Gavin hugs Nines tightly, then saying, "like I said, anytime." He tried his best to comfort the android. He needed this. They both did.

He played with Gavin's hair as he started to drift into sleep. "I love you,  Gavin, don't ever think done android id said softly into Gavin's ear. "Why would I think you don't love me?" Gavin asked, snuggling against the android. "I love you too Nines," he says, drifting to sleep. The Android smiles and falls asleep

-Morning-

He wakes up and looks at Gavin "Morning~" The Android said with his deep “morning” voice. His hair was messy and his eyes were still half shut. Gavin stretched. He yawned saying, "goodmorning Nines!" He smiled, holding Nines' face. "I feel much better today, thank you for everything," he told the android. He kisses Nines' forehead and tried to get up. He successfully gets up and rolls out lightly, putting his feet down. He sighs happily. He gets up and turns around looking at Nines.

The Android looks up at him smiling "Your welcome" He rolls over and lays on his back and stretches "I have to go down to the station and explain what happened, or I could just call 800 and see if he can explain" he said as he got up and made the bed. "Either way, I should probably stay and rest, right?" Gavin said, walking to the closet. He opens it and grabs some clothes. He goes to change. "yes and you deserve a break so don't worry about anything I'll take care of everything," He said as he unfolded his dress shirt and pants "I'm going to leave my jacket here because I'm just running to the station."

"Ok, don't freeze up!" He yells from the bathroom. He sniffles, looking in the mirror. Damn, he was a wreck. He cleaned himself up before going and doing something with the cats. "Alright!" The Android started buttoning up his shirt as he started walking over to Gavin "Do you want anything while I'm out?" He said as he bent down petting the cats. "I am fine, thanks though," Gavin said, smiling at the cute sight. He grabs a toy and plays with the soft fluffs. He hugs Nines, putting his face in Nines' shoulder. The Android hugged the man back and he kissed Gavin softly on the lips as he played with the man's hair.

Gavin giggled. He loved when Nines ran his fingers through his hair, but he had to go explain. "Ok ok, you have to go explain love," he said, giggling a bit. "fiiinnnnnneeeeee" he said as he kissed him on the forehead and chuckled, The Android kissed him a few more times before he finally left. Gavin laughs a bit. "He loves me so much, honestly. Don't you think so my kittens?" He asks the cats. They look confused, but Lila mews anyways.
