Chapter 33

Gavin took it seriously for a bit, reading and re-reading his vows. He repeats them as many times as possible, memorising it. He takes a deep breath, grabs Lily and puts her in her basket. Connor ended up asking Nines a BUNCH of questions and he took him somewhere so when Gavin arrives he won't see him. Eli was already there when Gavin arrived. "You ready?" He asked Lily and himself. He grabbed Lily's basket and gets out. He walks up to Li and smiles nervously. "I am so scared..." He tells Eli.

Hank walks over to Connor and Nines explaining the Gavins here and they need to be ready. Markus and Simon would bring the rings, and Alice was the flower girl. Connor takes Nines to their respective places. Eli would walk Gavin down the ' Isle' and Hank would be the preacher even though he wasn't religious or a priest he didn't care and Connor was Nines' best man. Gavin handed Lily to Li to set her in her spot. He shook his hands again. Okay, don't fuck this up. Don't fuck this up He thinks to himself. He takes a deep breath and goes over his stuff again. "You can do this, Gavin. You can do this," he tells himself. "Let's do this," he says.

Nines stepped up to the arch thing filled with lilies, Hank stood in the middle looking down the Isle. Alice walked up to Gavin with a soft smile on her face as she gave Gavin a lily and stepped in front of him getting ready to start the walk. Markus and Simon stood on either side of Hank waiting for their orders. Simon and Luther would take turns recording this so they could show Carl since he was unable to attend. Gavin was ready. "Let's do this," he says. He looks up at the altar, hoping to get a yes. He half-follows behind Alice, smiling softly after he gets the ok. He fought the temptation to push his hair back. He hopes he doesn't trip. Focus on one thing. Focus on not tripping. He tells himself.

Since Lily followed behind Gavin she had to walk fast and it was adorable. Nines looks at Gavin licking his lips a bit and smiling, Alice goes beside Simon. The Android covered his mouth as he smiles, he tries his best to stand still and keep his composure. Gavin never really wore anything this fancy so Nines was a bit surprised. Gavin could tell Nines was trying not to fanboy at how adorable he was. Gavin steps up, unsure of what to do, even though they had the rehearsal. He did what he did at the rehearsal, following what he knew to do.

Hank smiles and he begins his speech "So uh hey my name is Hank, and I have the privilege of performing this ceremony today. On behalf of Gavin Reed and RK900 or Nines, welcome and thank you for being here. They are thrilled that you are here today to share in their joy during this wonderful moment in their lives. By your presence, you celebrate with them the love they have discovered in each other and you support their decision to commit themselves to one another for the rest of their lives. Now, Gavin, will you say your vows?" he asks the man as Markus and Simon give them their rings.

Gavin takes a deep breath and recites his vows smoothly as he can. (I couldn't find any that sounded like Gavin or like ajkdkwkjf) He tries not to get emotional as he adds a bit onto it. He wipes his eyes, meeting Nines' gaze. He smiled softly, knowing his were not even half as good. The Android felt tears well up in his eyes but tried his best to hold them back "Ever since I met you life has been so much better for me, you've helped me through alot and I wouldn't change us for the world" he explains putting the ring on Gavin's finger shedding a few tears as he does. Nines you have chosen Gavin Reed to be your life partner. You love and respect this man with all of you bionic heart? "I do"  Gavin Reed You have chosen Nines to be your life partner, do you love and respect this man with all your human heart?" Hank asks Gavin.

Gavin puts the ring on Nines, trying not to be even more emotionally unstable than he already was. He had already cried but was surprised that Nines was since he wasn't a very emotional person. Gav, on the other hand, was on the other side of the spectrum. "I do," he states nodding once and wiping his eyes. "You may now kiss the Br-Groom" Gank states. Nines Kisses Gavin leaning down a bit to reach, everyone starts clapping. Nines has tears running down his face as he squeezes Gavin's hands. Gavin smiles into it. After he gets released, he hugs Nines tight, crying. "I have been waiting for this day for forever," he tells Nines shakily.

The Android smiled "I have too" he explains with a soft voice as they walk back down the aisle and the two go to the open part in the park with a long tables so everyone can sit together. Once they sit, Gavin leans on Nines, sniffling. "Jeez, I am too emotional," he says to himself, knowing Nines will respond anyways. "What was your reaction to my get-up, since you couldn't react earlier?" He asks the android. His love. Nines. His husband, whatever you wanna call him. The Android smiles softly "I was honestly shocked, I wanted to run up to you and give you a hug and tell you how handsome you were and fix your suspender because it didn't look right but you fixed it yourself so I didn't have to do that" he says looking over at him while Lily gets pet by Alice in the grass.

"Awhh," he says, listening to Nines' babble. "Despite it being so nice and a very formal event, I still brought my jacket. You can be such a perfectionist, but you don't bother to make your hair like this most days, how ironic!" He teases the android, looking at Lily and Alice next. He kinda liked this look of both of theirs.  He had so many questions but didn't know where to start. This day opened a huge new door for opportunities. The Android smiled "I had to get Connor to do it, he is alot better at styling than I am" he explains looking over at Gavin while Hank, Connor and Kamski walk up to them. Nines stands up to shake Kamski's hand, it's a bit awkward since he was legit the person who gave The Android life but they got a bit closer through the past few months.

"Ah, makes sense, glad he made it a bit different than his, because you two are identical, just you are taller and he is more formal per se," he says a bit nervously. Gavin looks proudly at Nines. It was a bit weird, but meeting his maker is like talking to parents. Because it is! "Hope you aren't too scared or intimidated because Li will probably be pestering us a lot now," he warns the android. Li makes noises insufferably, hushing Gavin while Gavin smirks with the 'You know it is true' sibling face.

The Android chuckles softly as Hank and Connor sit on Nines side of the table "Sooo you two where will you be going for your honeymoon?" Connor asks smirking a bit resting his head in his hands as his LED blinked blue. Kamski sits on Gavin's side watching how both of them would react. Gavin, as always, doesn't know. "I dunno, someplace maybe where it is sunnier," he says, looking at Nines. He thinks for a bit, cycling through the places he knows are pretty clear-skied. "I dunno, any ideas Nines?" He asks Nines, who seemed to already be thinking.

"Uuuuuhhhhh" The Android honestly didn't think that far ahead "……I don't know either" he responds as Connor starts recommending places. Nines got lectured by Kamski about being a good husband and all he could really do was sit there and listen, they also talked about Nines taking out his LED and why he added the freckles. Hank brought liquor and Kamski brought Wine and they had a grand time making sure none of them walked out onto the street. Nines was able to meet Chloe for the first time so that was fun. It soon became evening and everyone was just hanging out, Kamski ended up saying FASCINATING, Connor and Nines absolutely lost it.

Gavin laughed too, knowing Li did it for the jokes. He wiped his eyes and sighed, trying to keep his suit pants and white dress shirt clean. "See, I told you Li, they love it when you say your favourite line!" He says, giving Li the sibling look again. He kinda felt bad for Connor, the first time he met Chloe, he had to decide whether to shoot her or not. He was very glad Connor chose not to, even though it didn't affect Li, the pervert of a brother/brotherly figure. Gavin kept brushing Nines' hair back every so often, the sight was kinda sweet when Gav stopped the android and fixed him and vice verse.

The Android nodded as he kept telling Hank to in his words "Sit your ass down you gonna run into the street" Connor lost it for the second time because their models almost never swear so when he did this is was a bit shocking. Kara Luther and Alice ended up leaving early with Simon and Markus and it was just Kamski, Chloe, Lily, Hank, Connor, Gavin and Nines all hung out with each other. Gavin lost it once Nines cussed, laughing too hard. He uses the table to sit back up. "Damn, Nines I didn't know you could cuss in other contexts!" He says, taking in more air. He smiles softly after regaining composure. "Wow, Alice really enjoys playing with Lily, huh?" He asks generally, leaning on the table again.

The Android looks at Gavin with a bit of blush forming on his face "Gavin!" he says. His blush slowly fades "Yeah she really does" he explains as he puts Lily in his lap petting her while they all talked. Gavin laughs at Nines' reaction. He sticks his tongue out. "What do you think of pets, Kara and Luther?" He asks them, still smiling. He lifts his wine glass, swirling it a bit. Gavin wonders what they will say. He is curious what Nines thinks of alcohol in general since Gav didn't really drink much. "Well weve never had any animals so we aren't sure yet" they respond as Kara took a sip of wine as well. "Well," he says, continuing to swirl it. He watches what Nines does or doesn't do, curious. He looks at Hank, who is wandering aimlessly like a dumbass.
