      3RD PERSON'S VIEW。

"is it today?" hyori questions jaeyoung.

jaeyoung hums in response while she looks at the mirror, checking her outfit for today. "i'm excited!" she grins, not forgetting to wear her necklace.

"i've never been to another district before, this'll be a first." she says, turning around to face hyori.

hyori giggles, "i'm happy for you. i'm glad you're happy."

hyori stands up from jaeyoung's bed and grabs a thick jacket from her dresser. "don't forget to wear a jacket, it's a bit cold and you're wearing a sundress."

"it is not cold." jaeyoung pouts and walks to her window, reaching out to feel the air. it was just perfect for her outfit.

"i'm just afraid it might rain, knowing you, you wouldn't bring an umbrella with you." hyori rolls her eyes playfully, folding the jacket and placing it inside jaeyoung's bag.

"stay safe, okay? update me." hyori says, patting jaeyoung's head.

"i'll be fine, trust me." jaeyoung sends the older a smile before picking her bag up.

"miyeon said she'll be here in a few minutes, you should probably get ready for work." jaeyoung tells her.

hyori nods, "will do."

jaeyoung heads out their house and sees miyeon's car not so far from their driveway. "you're so pretty!" miyeon exclaims as soon as jaeyoung gets in the car.

jaeyoung chuckles, "no i'm not. you are the pretty one."

miyeon scoffs playfully, "please take us to valfield district!" she tells her driver as the man nods and starts driving.

"how long would it take us to get there?" jaeyoung questions.

miyeon shrugs, "well, i believe we'll get there before lunch, since traffic isn't that bad today."

"probably 1-2 hours?"

"miss miyeon, we'll be passing the laencaster district, would you like anything from the district as we do?" the driver questions the girl.

"hmm, cakes from laencaster are delicious! but not as delicious compared to the cakes mrs. kang would bake though." miyeon points out.

"would you like to pass the monuments instead?"

jaeyoung raises a brow, "monuments?"

miyeon nods, "there are a lot of monuments– err statues in laencaster. would you like to see them?"

before jaeyoung could even answer, miyeon turns to her driver saying, "we'd like to see those monuments when we get there!"

"i'm not taking no as an answer, you're seeing those monuments." miyeon tells her.

jaeyoung chuckles at her friend's action, "i guess i will be."

the two girls mostly chatted throughout the whole ride. once they finally reached the famous statues at laencaster, miyeon's driver parks for a bit so that the girl will be able to get out and take some pictures.

jaeyoung marveled the huge statues as her eyes looked at around to see the others. "it's so amazing to look at." jaeyoung mumbles, "the murals!" she points out, a wide grin flashing on her face.

miyeon watched as her friend's face lightened up at the whole place. miyeon really felt happy when she saw jaeyoung getting all excited and happy as well.
