3RD PERSONS VIEW

"you didn't have to mention him to her, hyori."

hyori looked at mrs kang, "she needs it."

"my husband just happened to be misunderstood by the royal family."

"he had the chance to live, yet he got killed–"

"hyori."

"i'm sorry... i'll stop now."

jaeyoung ran, making her way towards the antique shop. a sigh leaves her mouth as she walked in, the bell chimed upon the visitor.

minhyuk pushes up his spectacles, eyeing the girl, "oh? what brings you here today?"

"i just needed to take a breather."

minhyuk chuckles, "why at an old antique shop?"

jaeyoung huffed, "it feels safe in here."

minhyuk smiles, "well if you say so. you can roam around again, if you want."

"i-i actually want to talk about something..." she confesses, her fingers fiddled with each other as she walked close to the counter.

minhyuk tilts his head, "is there a problem? maybe you should talk it out with your friends."

minhyuk hands her his phone, "call a friend, then we'll talk."

jaeyoung nods and dials miyeon's home number. a few rings and miyeon picked up, a lazy tone to her voice as she spoke, "who's this?"

"miyeon!"

"e-eh? jaeyoung? what's wrong?"

"can you come to the antique shop downtown?"

"y-yeah... but why? did something happen to you?" miyeon questioned, a bit worried for her friend.

a little laugh came from jaeyoung, "let's talk here." she uttered before ending the call.

minhyuk and jaeyoung waited for the friend to come, and it took miyeon around fifteen minutes to get there. she didn't really took much time since she asked someone to drive for her.

miyeon walked in, rushing quickly to her friend, "are you okay!?" she asked loudly, hands on jaeyoung's shoulders.

jaeyoung smiled at her and gestured for her to sit down, "i'm fine, mi."

"so what's this about? who's this?" miyeon raised a brow, jabbing her thumb towards the old man.

"he's jeon minhyuk, the owner of this antique shop."

minhyuk smiled softly at the young girl, "it's nice to meet lady jaeyoung's friend."

miyeon smiled back, "nice to meet you too, sir!"

"as expected, the jung family is really a kind family."

"what did you want to talk about, jae? and why... in an antique shop?" miyeon mumbled, a bit confused why jaeyoung wanted to talk right now and in an antique shop.

"i'll go make you girls some tea." minhyuk said as he stood up, leaving the girls at the table.

"so?" miyeon raised a brow, "what's wrong?"

"you know why i don't like royalty, right?"

miyeon frowned, "not this again."

"what if i'm being tricked?" jaeyoung questioned, leaning back onto the chair.
