3RD PERSONS VIEW

a squeal left miyeon's lips, "oh my hera! jaeyoung! you're so– BEAUTIFUL!" she gasped and kept eyeing her friend.

a faint blush spread on jaeyoung's cheeks as she stared at her self on the mirror, "you really think so?"

miyeon nodded her head eagerly, "i know so!"

miyeon smiled and run her fingers in jaeyoung's loose strands of hair. she decided to make it simple and let her hair down as a few strands from both sides met up in the back middle. her hair was wavy and compliment her look very well.

miyeon pulled her up from her seat and made her stand in front of the full body length mirror. jaeyoung's jaw dropped a bit, "this gown... is so pretty..."

miyeon chuckled, "isn't it?" she then turned towards the maid as they handed her a pillow, with a small silver crown on it. "this," she grabs it, "is for you." she said and carefully placed the thin crown on top of her hair. it was a simple accessory crown which she thought would top the look.

she eyed the ordinary crown on jaeyoung's head. the real crown is waiting for you.

a true princess... miyeon smiled and watched as jaeyoung's eyes gleamed with light.

"let's go." she grabbed jaeyoung's hand and lead her out the room with jaeyoung thanking the maids before going.

jaeyoung took deep breath as they faced the side entrance to the ball. through the linen curtains, she could see numerous of people wearing fashion clothes as they conversed with others.

her nerves started kicking in as she reached up to hold her pendant tightly. jihye's words voiced out in her mind; did she even deserve this? was her only thought as they stood there still.

miyeon glanced worriedly at the girl as jaeyoung kept fiddling between her necklace.

"jaeyoung..."

"i don't belong here." jaeyoung said softly, her eyes looking sad, knowing deep in her heart that she didn't belong in a place full of people with high status.

"you do, jaeyoung." miyeon said and held her by her shoulders. "this is where you belong."

jaeyoung shook her head, "these people are scary. using their title to gain everything they want– i don't... i'm not like that." she looked down.

"you are definitely not like that, jaeyoung." miyeon said and rubbed jaeyoung's back.

princess... i don't like the sound of that. jaeyoung remember her words from the dream. her head had a slight pounding sensation but she remained a calm face.

miyeon stepped out the curtains and looked around, glad that she locked eyes with someone who could definitely help her.

"what's wrong?" doyoung approached her.

miyeon jabbed her thumb towards the curtained entrance, "jaeyoung."

doyoung nodded and patted her shoulder, "we'll take care of this."

miyeon moved away and doyoung passed her. going behind the curtains, he saw the girl, having some sort of staring contest with the walls. doyoung gawked at her features. seeing her in a gown, seeing her dolled up, it made him really believe that she's princess haera.
