The next day

Xina spent her day shopping for clothes, food, and a couple of household supplies like plates, silverware, toiletries, etc. Xina returned to her place and goes into the bedroom to change her old, dirty clothes into her new ones. She was now wearing a white crop top with dark blue jeans and a gold-yellow belt, and wore white shoes.

Xina then decided to go out and walk around before dark. She looks at the time. 6:46pm. The sun was starting to set. She puts on her grey cloak and put the hood over her head. She grabs her deck and placed it on her yellow belt.

Xina leaves her building and started to walk around, breathing in the fresh air.

Moments later, Xina came across a duel arena that looked pretty beat up in the same neighborhood her building was in. There was surprisingly a great amount of people here watching duelists duel each other.

She looks from the distance, leaning against an old building. She can hear the crowd inaudible conversations, and loud cheering. "Is that Joey Wheeler?" She heard one person ask.

"No man, that's his cousin, Jessie Wheeler," Another answered.

Xina hummed, shaking her head. She looked around the area and almost instantly, her eyes landed on someone she recognized. Xina gasped as she felt her heart stop. She couldn't believe her eyes; it was him.

"Yusei.. " She thought.

Yusei was standing with an older man who was shorter than him and a taller man who looked buff and had spiked up green hair. Then a brown hair man walked up to them. They were all watching the crowded people, talking to each other. Xina noticed that Yusei had a yellow mark on his left cheek.

Xina eyes widened, surprised, as she thought, "He was sent to the Facility!?"

Xina started to feel nosy before deciding to listen onto them. She used her grey cloak to hide her duel disk that was now activated on her arm, and placed one card on it. Unnoticed, a duel monster appeared in front of her. It was her level 5 Wise Owl; it is grey with a couple of royal blue feathers. The owl's huge eyes are silver.

"Go," Xina told Wise Owl, motioning it to Yusei with her head. The owl nods as it flew up in the sky and landed by a light pole that stood close to the small group.

Wise Owl's eyes looked down at the group and glowed a light blue color that matched Xina's right eye. This allowed Xina to hear their conversation.

"If you're lucky. This isn't some pleasure cruise. It's to check on Yusei's friends. They may be in trouble, grandpa. Yusei got much bigger things to worry about," The brunette male tells the older man.

"Like the Fortune Cup? Hey, our boy will clean 'em up," The green haired man added.

Xina hums in thought, "Yusei is going to be in the Fortune Cup too?"

"There's a lot more in stake here than just the tournament," The brunette told him.

"What does he mean by that?" Xina wondered.

"Goodwin and Atlas forced Yusei in a duel. If they're involved, then something bad is going on," The brunette pointed out.

"Like the end of the world! Everyone in New Domino! Our fate is tied in with the Signers to Yusei!" The old man squealed.

"Signers? I remember Ezor talking something about that," Xina ponders.

"Not sure I believe that, but just in case, why don't you win for the sake of humanity, okay?" The brunette says to Yusei.
