Chapter 31: It Isn't Over Yet

It Isn't Over Yet

In the streets of Satellite, hundreds of people started to appear. They were all confused to what happened to them and why they were there. Rally, Nervin, Blitz and Tank appear as they look around.

Nervin says, "What happened?"

"We're back!" Tank exclaimed in excitement.

"Who are all of these people?" Blitz questions.

"Better question: Where's Yusei?" Rally asks, making them all look around.

Soon, Martha appears. She looks around and questions herself, "Where am I? .. Oh, I'm okay! Wait, where's Yusei and Xina?"

At the Ener-D Reactor, Trudge, the twins and Crow were looking down at the multi-colored floor.

"Oh, Xina... Yusei..." Leo manages to say as he felt his eyes water up.

"Th-They're gone!" Luna says in shock.

"Yusei! Xina!" Crow shouts, hearing his voice echo.

"Why!?!" Leo screams out as tears fell down his cheeks.

Luna then says, "Leo, calm down-"

"Don't tell me to calm down! Yusei and Xina just disappeared! And Xina had to jump after him! Why, Xina!? Why!?" Leo cries.

"Do you think they're lost forever?" Trudge questions, not making the situation any better.

Then Leo cried out, "No! They just got to be alright!"

Crow tells the crying twin, "And they are. They are both survivors, that much we know. But we don't know where this glowing lake of light took them."

Luna's mark began to glow as they all noticed. She says, "Jack just started his duel with a Dark Signer."

Yusei lays on the hard ground, unconscious. Darkness was all around him. He was slowly regaining consciousness as he picked up his head and looks around to see he was lying on the ground in the darkness. "Where in the world...What is this place?" He questions as he slowly managed to stand up.

Yusei then remembered what happened. He remembered falling and seeing Xina jump after him. This makes him gasp as he looks around.

"Xina?" He calls out. Then he sees Xina lying on the ground, unconscious. He runs over to her and kneels down next to her. "Xina. Xina, wake up," Yusei says as he began to shake her. Xina doesn't awake, making him confused. He then sees white ghost-like spirits appearing out of the ground, surrounding them. "Where are all of these things coming from?" Yusei questions. One of the white spirits grabbed ahold of Yusei's arm. Yusei sees more of the white spirits walking over to him. He started to freak out, "Ah! Let go of me! Beat it!"

Then the spirits went over to Xina, who was still unconscious.

Yusei tries to pull his arm away from the spirit. He sees that the spirits were walking closer to Xina. "Stay away from her!" He shouts defensively. One spirit goes to reach her, but something prevented it from touching her. The hand of the spirit began to melt as it cried out. Yusei was confused before he noticed that Xina's sun mark was glowing. "Her mark.. It's protecting her," Yusei mutters. Then he felt his arm sting once a spirit placed their hand on it. He gasps as he saw a vision.
