Chapter 13: Strange Dream

Strange Dream

Dexter, Luna and Xina wait while Tanner, Yanagi and Leo rush over to where Yusei was at in the arena.

"Yusei," Leo exclaims, grabbing Yusei's attention.

"Hey, guys. Everyone okay?," Yusei asks.

"We're fine, but you're about to face a whole new enemy: the media," Yanagi tells him before pointing to where all the reporters and news channel cameramen were at. They all look over to see the bar that was keeping them from getting in fall down, causing them to rush over to Yusei.

Yusei eyes widen as Tanner said, "Better rev it up."

"Coming," Yusei says, before they all start running away to the exit.

"Where are we?" Dexter questioned as they all were walking through an empty tunnel with low lighting.

Tanner was dragging Yusei's duel runner as he responds, "This is an abandoned service tunnel."

Dexter looks around and says, "Cool.. By the way Tanner, how'd you know this was down here?"

"A guy like me knows these things. That, and Blister told me," Tanner tells him with a slight smile.

Yanagi chimes in while looking at Yusei, "I have no idea what happened to you in that light, but I am just thrilled that you won the tournament."

"I knew you could do it Yusei. You're the best duelist I have ever seen. You're like my hero. And so are you, Xina. You're amazing as well," Leo tells them both with a huge smile.

Dexter nods in agreement. Yusei smiled back at Leo and Yanagi. Xina, however, was lost in her thoughts as she was looking down, and so was Luna.

"Forget the tournament," Tanner started. "The whole thing was set up in Goodwin's part. Let's not forget, the only reason Yusei agreed to duel was because Goodwin captured his friends."

Leo, Dexter and Yanagi hummed, remembering that part.

"Until we figure out what the whole story is, we all should lay low at Blisters hideout. Leo and Luna, you should probably come and stay with us too," Tanner tells them.

"Alright! It'll be like a sleep away camp but only better!" Leo says in excitement. Yusei looks at Leo, smiling at his enthusiasm.

"And Xina, you should probably stay with us too," Tanner adds.

Xina doesn't respond as she was still lost in her thoughts. Yusei looks over at her and noticed that she looked uneasy.
Before he could say anything, Luna says, "Yusei, I don't know how, but I was able to see inside that weird light. I saw you guys dueling and... I saw the Satellite being destroyed. That was the future wasn't it?"

Yusei responds, "I have no idea, but if that was some kind of vision of the future, then we have to stop it from happening."

"Hmm," Luna hummed. She looks up at Xina and says, "Xina, you were there too, but you weren't there to see the rest of the duel." Xina looks down at Luna as she continued, "You drifted off and you weren't in a red bubble like me and Akiza were in. You were in a bubble with many colors. Do you have any idea what that means? And where did you drift off to?"
