Chapter 19: Shadow Duel of the Dark Signer Part Three

Previously

One Hundred Eyes Dragon roars fiercely at Dragon of the Moon, but Xina's dragon roars louder and deadlier. They roar at each other as if they were communicating, making the ground rumble.

Yusei realizes, "This same thing happened when Xina dueled in the Fortune Cup against Akiza. Both of their dragons roared at each other as if they are communicating."

Crow adds, "I don't think they are communicating the way you think Yusei."

Yusei turns to him curiously asking, "What do you mean?"

Crow looks at him and says, "It's like how wolves fight each other and see who is stronger to see who will be the alpha. I think Xina's dragon is showing Kalin's dragon who's the king."

Nervin adds, "That means this is going to be more than a duel. It's going to turn into a blood bath."

Crow says, "I don't think that is what is going to happen. I think Dragon of the Moon will try to gain control of One Hundred Eyed Dragon."

"What!? Is that even possible?" Yusei questions.

Crow shrugs, "I'm not sure, but looks to me that Xina is trying to show Kalin that she is the leader. If she continues to do this, she may get carried away and lose."

They all gasp in shock before looking back at the screen to see Xina grinning. Her eye was still glowing.

Kalin has no chance against me now! Xina thinks as she felt unstoppable.

Part Three

Dragon of the Moon [ATTK: 3700] and One Hundred Eyed Dragon [ATTK: 3000] continued to roar at each other.

Kalin laughs, "Your dragon doesn't scare me, Xina."

Xina narrowed her eyes at him. Her eye was still glowing as she shouts, "You will be once I attack your dragon. Now Dragon of the Moon!"

Dragon of the Moon shoots a bright white beam towards Kalin and his dragon.

"Attack all you want because my One Hundred Eyed Dragon gains another special ability of Infernity Guardian! And thanks to this power, it can't be destroyed in battle!" Kalin tells Xina.

"But you still take damage," Xina states with a smirk.

The beam hits Kalin, making him groan in pain as he felt the hit of the attack.

Kalin's life points: 4000 -> 3300

Kalin chuckles as he said, "You are something Xina. What's next, huh?"

"Since my dragon successfully dealt battle damage to you, my facedown Moon Shard activates. This means I can draw one card and if that card is a trap, I can replace Moon Shard with it," Xina explains. She then draws a card and smirks. "I am destroying Moon Shard in order to activate Miracle of the Moon trap! This trap forces you to draw one card and gives my Dragon of the Moon 800 attack points! And the ability to attack again this turn! [ATTK: 4500] So Kalin add a card in your hand!"

"Whatever you say," Kalin says with a smile as he draws a card.

From on top of the junk pile, Crow, Yusei, Rally, Nervin, Tank, and Blitz watch the screen. Crow comments, "Alright! Now that Kalin has a card in his hand, he can't use his special abilities anymore."
