Chapter 11: Familair Faces

Riley's p.o.v.

I decided to let the girl caught her own breath as I tied up the guy that had done this to her.
How could he? I bit my lip... he knew her... what could she have possibly down to have been killed? To have to die in such a terrible way...? To have your own friend hang you?

The thought sickned me and I refused to let this go by me.

The girl stopped gagging and I took this time to introduce myself... although she already looked familiar... she probably didn't have any reconciliation of who I was...

" Are you alright....? I-I'm Riley... I'm glad I was able to save you before you died...."

She stopped breathing heavily and slowly got up... "T-Thank you.... Jacob... he... he wasn't himself... I didn't know it then but his eyes... I-i think he was possessed...."

My eyes shifted to the guy I had tied up and went back to the girl...

" Are you hungry...? Thirsty? I have some supplies with me."

" Y-You have food?"
I nodded, as I quickly reached into my bag and pulled out some more crackers.

" M-maybe Later..." she said as she shook horrifyingly.

" I have a question... and please don't get mad at me but... did you perform some kind of ritual before you got sent here?"

" Y-Yeah .... me and some friends performed a charm called, 'Sayituto Itzuma.' W-why do you know something...?"

I looked down and bit my lip," That charm is sending kids to there doom...."

She let out a gasp...." Do you remember being here by any chance...?"

She looks down at her feet and began shifting uncomfortably in place,"Now that you mention it before I performed that charm that whole day felt like It was repeating itself...."

I reached out and grabbed her wrist, she seemed uncomfortable but I just ignored it," Listen to me... I know a way out of here but... I know your  fate... I know how you died here...."

" W....What....?"
" I've been here before too... but this time I plan to stop things from happening... and I'm going to start with you... follow me around I have some friends that I need to find..."

" I....I um.... okay..."

" I know I sound crazy...but look," I had pulled out the Book of Shadows  again and she looked at it in awe.

" Hahehehahaheheh" it started laughing and she backed away and let out a scream.

" I'm a witch... er.... Warlock... do you believe me now?"

" Y-yes!"

The guy I had tied up began to come back after losing consciousness.

" My names  Sierra, by the way..."

I nodded, as I walked over to the tied up Jacob.

"Where, where am I?" Jacob asked out loud.

He began to move his hands but couldn't.

" WHO? WHO TIED ME UP?!"

" I DID YOU MONSTER!"
he stayed quite as I turned him around so he was looking at me and Sierra.

" What  are you...-"

* slap*

I was breathing heavily and I felt the darkness from the Book of Shadows  slowly take over but I couldn't allow it.
