Chapter 20: Unimaginable

Riley's p.o.v.

We began chanting and I don't know why but during the chant I felt my energy skyrocket. I didn't like this feeling having all of this power trying to stay sane and not let it consume me....

No matter how dark things get....
no matter how evil I may want to become...
I-I won't let myself...

" Riley?" Ryland snapped me back to reality and I realized that we was just beginning to chant.
" S-Sorry" " I muttered, feeling my cheeks heat up. I had to once again remind myself of why I was doing these things... I was doing them for Ryland... for Gage... for my parents... who never really bothered seeing me...

I let out a shaky breath," What's wrong? Cat got your tongue" Zac muttered out this lame attack and I instantly felt myself get annoyed with him...

I saved his pathetic life.... and for what? To have him change and beg for forgive for how rude he's been to me since i got here?
No....

And for that I decided that right after our chant that I would be the show off...

"Serium Putenin Culion! Serium PUTENIN CULION! SERIUM PUTENIN CULION.... SERIUM OUTENIN CULION!"
I screamed that last part, I looked up, our hands still hand in hand, and the few of us left were simple here to observe...

A dark mist surrounded us and our dark circle...
but I felt it clear up...
the chant was complete...

"And with that let the challe-"
I didn't even let the supreme finish her word... I knew how this was going to go... I knew where we were to start it off with.... pyromancy...

And with the snap of my fingers fire began to twirl around in my right hand, I let the moment carry me away, and small sparks of flames fell and hit the ground, as I twirled  around.

" Fire.... You're move bitch." I said coldly... I was done with this cocky dudes tone he was acting like a little child when it came to magic, after everything that has happened to me...

He quickly shot up his hand producing a smaller flame, his was red and blueish, while my flames, were straight from hell themselves, green blistering flames....

He quickly teleported right next to Ryland, with a knife in his hand holding it directly above his neck.

My eyes widened... you mother fuc....

I quickly teleport next to Zac but he caught me off guard by producing a small gust of wind pushing me back...

I grew angry at the minute," Leave him out of this!" I demanded

"Why not... let's see if you truly are the supreme... what if I kill him and you bring him back? Surely you could put back together your boyfriend if you had to"

I felt sickened and disgusted at the same time... I stood completely shocked unknowing of what to do...

This time Gage stood up for me," Zac leave him out of this!"

The supreme agreed with me and I knew that she was just halting the damage," Put him down n-" but she didn't get the chance to finish that word... 
I knew what the next test was... concilium...
I quickly took control of Zac's body... he struggled a bit but he remanded under my control...

A part of the darkness hit and I didn't know where to draw the line... I made him pick up the knife and hold it directly above his stomach...

" NO RILEY STOP!"
This cut of me out of it completely... my thoughts were my own and I snapped back to reality.. no longer controlling Zac...

I turned to look at Ryland and he simply blushed and turned his head....

Wasn't  he... disappointed in me...
