Melody's POV:
..........................

“Harry.” I say his name in a calm tone, trying to make him relax. “I’m sorry for everything I said, I didn’t mean any of it. You kn-…” I cut him off, by giving him my hand to lean on; we still need to go downstairs to sum up what’s left of this dinner. He takes it instantly, and I notice tiny droplets of sweat on his forehead, so I allow myself to wipe them off.

His face is worried, yet frightened while his eyes meet mine. It almost seems that he is seeking a sign from me to indicate that we are still okay. I smile at him, and then at his mother. “You two lovebirds need to move it, or else my stomach will growl louder.” Anne jokes, and I nod as the three of us decent to the dinning room.

“We thought you already broke up. Such a shame I would have wanted to watch that scene.” Sophia spits her dark sarcasm, but somehow I feel that she was actually hoping for it. “(I fake a smile at her, and speak in a joyful matter) Nope we didn’t. But you know if Liam decides to leave you soon; make sure to give me a call so I could have it recorded. It will sure make a blockbuster comedy movie.”

Everyone, I mean everyone including Liam, laughs so hard at my fire back. “You dirty little bi-…” Liam pounds his hand on the table, to shut his girlfriend up. “(He states sternly) Enough! Can’t you just quiet your pie hole for one second when she’s around?” She looks at him in disappointment, clearly thinking that he would support her; but Liam is a better person than she will ever be to me.

Harry is quiet, and I see how his fork is rolling the food on the plate. I surprise him by kissing his cheek, and his face revives with the natural color of life. “(He whispers) I love you, don’t ever forget that.” I mouth with no voice to him “I love you too”and his smile repaints his face.

…Later In the Evening…

“Well, I better go to bed.” I announce to clear off the silence in the huge living room. Everyone left an hour ago, and all who’s left is Harry, Anne, and I. I called the hotel that Anne registered in, and I told Rodger to go gather her bags and check out for her. I want her to stay here, stay with us.

I don’t want her to be away from Harry no more. They have to talk to each other sooner or later, and I won’t make this wait any longer to happen. “ I’ll go with you.” Harry states, clearly not wanting to have the ‘talk’ with his mother, but I shake my head with an encouraging grin.

“No, its fine. You could follow me later after you show Anne her room.” I know he wants to rage again, but I admire how he forces himself to calm down instantly. I hug Anne as a good night gesture, and then I lean in to kiss Harry’s cheek. He moves his face cunningly, so my lips land on his lips. “(I whisper through the kiss) Be nice, and count to ten before replying to anything your mother says.”Once I drop our kiss, he nods and I take that as me cue to my departure.

I’m more than happy that I finally reunited them together. She is all what is left for him as family, and so is he to her. Unlike me, both my parents are reunited in the heavens hopefully. I change my clothes, clean my makeup, and dive in to my bed; praying that everything will be resolved.
