… The Next Morning…
.........................
Melody's POV:
.........................
My head is pounding like an axe on wood. I find it hard to open my eyes, but I eventually succeed. I look around me and I feel terrified. I stare left and right of this tiny room. Well it isn’t tiny; it’s just that my room is five times bigger than this one. Wait, this isn’t my room?
I stare at the dresser and I glance at the mirror. I white cloth, actually a tissue, is stuck on the glass. There seems to be writings on it, but I can’t read from my current position. I take a glance at myself, and I notice I am still in my dress; but my crystal heels are not on.
I encourage my body to stand up from the bed, and walk to the taped tissue. I hold my dress from the left side, scared that I might get it dirty by any chance. I blink my eyes slowly and read the content of the tissue:“Your bags are in the closet. Dress up and meet me in the kitchen.”
My bags? What bags? Did I leave USA?! No it can’t be! I rush to the window, and I spread the glass to glance outside. The neighborhood is familiar, but I can’t recall where have I seen it last. I open the double-door closet, and I gasp in silence. Some of my clothes are hung neatly, and so are my shoes! Where are the rest?!
I unzip the bags below, and sigh in relief once I locate the other pairs. I take out my toothbrush, my hair comb, and my makeup kit. Once I pick a suitable, yet comfortable outfit, I open a second door in the room. I laugh ironically, since it’s a tiny bathroom. Why is this house so… compressed? I shrug and clean myself up, then dress up in my clothes (http://www.polyvore.com/calm_neon/set?id=114142090&lid=3328693).
The door creaks open, and I slide outside to the recognizable hallway; I’ve been here! As my heeled- sandals click on the ground I start remembering where I last saw this place; Niall’s house. Niall? But how? I don’t remember seeing him yesterday? All I remember is taking the Champagne glass from Liam, and then a massive headache stroked me unconscious.
My eyes widen at the huge insect walking on the wall, and I scream my voice like a fire alert. Swiftly, a group of people rushes out of the inside, and they run to me. I recognize their faces, Liam, Louis, Niall, and Eleanor I think? One male is already holding me tight in his arms, and I lift my head up to look at him. My eyeballs want to drop to the ground from the astonishment; Harry?!
“What’s wrong?”Liam asks in panic, and I lift my shaky index finger to the little monster on the wall. Louis shakes his head and squishes the bug with a kick on the wall.“Eww!”I say in disgust and they all share a loud laughter.“EWW!” Everyone mimics me, and they chuckle again."Oh, Shut up will you!” Harry’s voice roars, while I burry my head in the crook of his chest.
“It’s gone, Mel. Look.” Harry’s voice softens, and I stare into his eyes… his eyes that I thought I would never see again. I nod slowly, and he racks us in our huggable stand.“Are you hungry?”Eleanor asks sweetly, and I smile at her.“Don’t just stand there! Get the girl some food.” She commands in a joking matter, while playfully pushing the three guys to what seems to be the kitchen.
“How did I end up here?”I ask Harry, and he sighs.“I’ll explain everything, right after you eat babe.” My smile is endless at the word ‘babe’, and he returns it back widely.“What?”He asks in a silly matter and I shake my head with happiness.
“I love it when you call me babe, that’s all.”He breathes deeply, still unable to eliminate the grin.“You’re my babe, aren’t you… babe?” I swat his chest softly and he chuckles, while his arms embrace me closer to his protective body.“I won’t let you go anywhere, now that you’re in my arms.”I place my head on his chest, as we stand like a couple from an ending scene of a romantic tragedy.
