AN: TRIGGER WARNING!!!! BE WARNED ABOUT HALF WAY DOWN THE PAGE!
The air was arid, desert surrounding them as the truck did little to allow a breeze. Desert surrounded them as they barrelled through the sand leaving a cloud behind them. Rock faces covered their left side blocking the view of the rolling sand behind.
Soap drove, one hand resting gently on top of the wheel, the other resting out the window trying to get what little breeze their was from their movement to cool him, Roach rode shotgun, his boots resting heavily on the dash, ghost was behind him,he watched the horizon zip fast, adder next to him, her hands gripping and rubbing the other harshly , head pressed firmly into the headrest as her teeth sank into her bottom lip, eyes tightly shut. She let out a slow breath, the bile in her stomach turning and forcing it's way north. She the car sickness settled deep with in her stomach pushing all else upwards.
"You good?" The voice came from next to her, pulling her from her nauseous thoughts and back to reality. She glanced over at the lieutenant, the signature mask and glasses covering his face, she found herself the last couple of days wondering about all the reasons he wore that mask, why he hid himself away from the world?
"Yeah" she mumbled, trying to reassure herself the car sickness would pass, it always did, after it had stormed through her journey, rumbling her chest and churning her stomach.
"Eyes up where approaching" soap spoke, roach pulled his feet from the dash shifting in his seat. Adders eyes pulled from the dark lenses of ghosts sunglasses and watched out the front windscreen as they approached a worn down town.
The sand coloured buildings blending into ground, no distinctive marks signalling one building from another, the streets were busy as the approached, a market set in the middle full of people purchasing their daily goods. The truck stopped just short of the market, the four climbed from the car gathering around one side ready to receive their orders from the captain.
"Right... That's the club, word is Victor is inside, if we can pop this bastard now we will save ourselves a lot of time and effort in the future" soap spoke pointing to the building that was Victors 'club'. The club looked the same as all other buildings, hidden perfectly in plain sight. Nothing distinctive to draw attention or make it easily identifiable to outsiders.
"Roach you go in round the back, ghost a side window to the left, I'll go to the right, and addy through the front" he looked round at each member of his team. They all nodded in response.
"Let's make this a covert as possible. Hand guns only" soap nodded taking his hand gun and tucking it into the waist band of his dark jeans. Addy checked over her weapon screwing the silencer into place before tucking it into her own jeans pulling her t-shirt down covering the weapon.
"Stay frosty" soap nodded.
The team each walked over getting into their positions, Addy watched as roach crept around the back of the building to find the door, ghost disappeared to the left. She watched round the corner as Soap silently opened a small window, he glanced at her offering her a Curt nod readying himself to pull himself through.
Addy walked to the large black wooden door at the front of the building, she could hear the quiet hum of music through the heavy wood.
"You sure your gunna fit through these windows boss" ghosts voice rang through her coms followed by a small chuckle.
"You worry about your self lieutenant" soap shot back, Addy could hear the smile in his voice.
"On my go" soap mumbled. Addy pulled her gun from her waist band, glancing towards the market to ensure no prying eyes had seen her draw the weapon, she held it low next to her leg as her hand gently gripped the cool metal of the round door knob.
