"I was only young. Ten I think when it first happened, it didn't start straight away." Adder began, ghost laid next to the girl facing her, his hand gently resting in the gap between them.

"A present" her fathers dark voice haunted her as it filled the room. She turned and smiled rushing to her father as he handed her the small box. Ever since her mother died her father had spoiled her with gifts.

"Thank you!" The girl exclaimed her voice full of excitement as she jumped around. Her father handed her the box and she ripped it open in a hurry. She examined the box underneath it was the new game console she had been begging her father for. Her eyes widened as she screamed with happiness.

"Thank you daddy!" She wrapped her arms around the man hugging him tightly, he smiled hugging the girl back his fingers gently wrapping him her hair holding her uncomfortably close.

"Now... I need something from you okay?" He mumbled in the girls ear. She lent back watching her father as he examined her face gently brushing his thumb against her cheek.

"Yes anything!" She smiled widely, the man smiled softly kissing the girls head. He then kissed her cheek, before his lips found their way to hers.

The girl felt strange this wasn't like the other times she had innocently kissed her father goodbye or goodnight. He seemed to pull her closer. She struggled pushing away from him.

"Sweetie their comes a time in every girls life where her and her daddy have a special kind of hug" he began talking to the girl, he held her arms as he watched her.

"And this hug makes their love for each other even stronger than before" he continued, the girl looked concerned as her father explained this special hug.

"And all daddies do it?" She questioned as her father stood her and carried her upstairs. He nodded simply.

"Yes all daddies. But all the girls like you have to keep it a secret." He spoke as he gently laid her on her bed just like he had done so innocently all through her life. He reached down and begun unbuckling his belt.

"A secret just between daddies and their little angels"

Ghost felt his stomach drop as adder spoke, he watched her face as she told him her deepest secrets, he couldn't understand how a father who is meant to love and protect their children could act in such a way.

Sure his father made him question people motives with the constant beatings. But to bribe a child like that! He felt the anger running through him as she continued. She described how she remembered the pain the most. How she would rather be shot at point blank range than suffer through that again.

He wanted nothing more than to find her father and rip him apart, tourture him and make him suffer like he did to her all those years ago.

He noticed she didn't cry while telling her story, she never cried. Maybe that came from the abuse she had suffered, she was immune to sadness and pain.

"It got more frequent the older i got, until it was two three times a day" she finally looked at Simon. She couldn't quite read his expression but he was staring at her. His expression softened when she met his gaze.

"I thought about killing myself. When I was sixteen I tried, found some pills and took them, but I woke up the next morning" she finished, Simon gently touched her arm and pulled her close.

"You have no idea how much I wanna find and kill you father" he spoke softly, he tried to stay calm and comfort the girl but the anger at her father was to obvious.

"He's already dead" adder mumbled, ghost looked down at her.

You will do as your told!" Her fathers voice roared, he was drunk... again, and mad. Mad at something she had done or hadn't done she couldn't quite remember. He was mad at her for so much these days.
