Simon opened the door before she had a chance to knock, he was sat filling out paperwork when he heard someone shuffling about outside his door, he stood in front of her in Camo pants with no top, she matched his camo pants that disappeared into her black boots, a black vest top exposed her shoulders.

"Sargent" he nodded to the girl with a small smile, he looked around the hall, empty as always. she always seemed to know when to pick her moments.

"Lieutenant" she smiled as he stepped aside allowing her accses to his room, she stepped inside looking around the room. As she always did when she walked in. maybe she was trying to find any signs of Simon buying anything else to keep in his room. she turned as he gently clicked the door shut.

she smirked softly walking to him and pressing her lips to his in a heated moment. they were getting used to this, sharing secret moments when no one was looking, whether it was a glance while Shepard briefed them on the next mission or quick passionate kisses shared in an empty hall. They couldn't seem to leave one another alone.

simons arms wrapped around Adders waist pulling her closer into him, her arms reached up wrapping around his neck her nails gently tickling the back of his neck. he smiled gently into the kiss.

she pulled away first, she turned and walked over to simons desk flicking through the pages that were messily spread across the wooden top. a pen gently abandoned from when he opened the door.

"so soap spoke to me earlier" she spoke absent minded as she read his report about some mission. Simon walked closer to her wrapping his arms around her waist and gently resting his chin on her shoulder. he hummed questioning for her to continue and tell him what had been said.

" ah you know soap... nosy bastard" adder chuckled gently, she continued to read, analyzing simons writing. it wasnt messy, but it wasnt neat. somewhere perfectly in between. he gently pressed his lips to her bare shoulder, his arms tightening slightly pulling her closer to him.

" he spoke to me to" Simon mumbled, he chuckled slightly turning Adder around so she was now facing him. she lent back against the desk, simons hands rested on the desk so his face was level with hers. she stared into his brown eyes seemingly becoming lost in them.

"oh yeah? what did he say?" she asked smirking slightly, her fingers loosely held onto the pockets and the front of his trousers, Simon smirked gently and kissed her cheek softly.

"basically told me i should stop being a baby and tell you how i feel" his voice was soft, softer than adder had ever heard it.

"and hows that?" she spoke her voice barely above a whisper, Simon gently pressed his forehead to hers, watching her as he did so. he let out a half smile watching her, her eyes, they held him like he was trapped. even in the darkest room her eyes would shine.

"i-" Simon began but was abruptly cut off by loud knocking on his door. Adder chuckled slightly patting Simon's shoulder.

"what?!" Simon questioned the annoyance in his voice evident. he turned his attention back to adder gently kissing her cheek and down towards her jaw.

"sir! General Shepard and Captain Price need you in the briefing room Immediately" Simon groaned dropping his head to adders shoulder.

"right ill be there in five" Simon shouted back before they listened as whoever had been sent to get him disappeared down the hall.

"Addy-" Simon began as he lifted his head, Adder smiled softly pressing her lips to his once more to silence the man.

"When we come back from wherever they are sending us we will have this chat" she smiled she walked over to the bed handing Simon a tight black t-shirt, he smiled taking it and placing it over his head covering his body once again.
