The Boat

The boat slowly inches across the sea

Never ending never stopping never slowing

Where is the boat sailing to

You might ask

The wind says "It sails forever until the end of time

Until the day we all die

When the world stops turning

When the sun stops shining

When the lights go out

When time stops

You will find the boat at the edge of life."

It will stay there until joy and love and peace and happiness find its resting place and bring it new life

So around the world the boat sails until the caption has stopped breathing

And until the crew falls asleep and never wakes up the world will be a living thing

But once something dies you can't get it back

not unless you see the boat

The world will sing a joyful song when you see that boat

Because you will be home right where you belong on that boat until the end of time

And when time ends you will live a new life and live forevermore in the place called home
