In denial

So. Little story behind this one. I was awake one night scrolling through my instagram. And i noticed one of my friends post about being broken up with, we talked about it, which is where i got the idea for this. I have recently been broken up with,  and essentially thrown away without a second glance, now. I can sit here and throw shade at my ex for how contradictory she is but i'm not, i'm a generally decent person. I mean, i have so many cards up my sleeve that i could use, i could rebound if i wanted, but i won't, it's kind of like a nightmare. But one that has a good ending, ya know? Anyways. Here's the poem. Now. This was not intended for my ex to read but if she does. Which i doubt because she doesn't even know i have instagram or wattpad i don't think, and most of the people who have access aren't going to show her. On the off chance she does.

I'm not sorry for anything in this poem. This is how i feel, nor do i care what comes of this. i just needed to get this out. Because in reality. You are in denial, Whether you know it or not.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You told me i was moving too fast
That i needed to slow down
But then you're the one saying
"Forever"
You're the one who said
"I love you" first
So you put me in shock
Turned our relation up ten fold
Thought i was being rushed
Don't know to explain this to you
But love
I don't think that it's my fault
How am I the one to blame
When you're the one who said it first
You said i was moving too fast
I think you're in denial
Don't you see the warnings
All the cards I'm hiding in my sleeves
Got this story on the run now
Guess maybe you deserve it
Next time you shouldn't let your friends bitch
So what's gonna happen
Should i drop a bomb  on you
Or should i let you get away with it
Figure out how wrong you were by yourself
Make you think about what you missed
I don't mind waiting around to see how this ends
You got a pretty interesting story
