Happens every night
It's just such a sad life
We end up on your bed
Tangled together
Out of breath
totally in love
But as soon as i close my eyes
I'm back to my room
The darkness closing in on me
As light dances around my room
Your voice echos through my head like a storm
Clearing my every thought
Now I'm lost in this imaginary world
Lips pressed against mine
Until i open up my eyes
Tossing and turning in bed
Can't stand to feel this alone at night
Can't just close my eyes and go back to bed
Fprget her name running through my head
It's more like a prayer now
One I'm begging to be answer
At first her voice is silent
Almost a whisper
Until i swear she's next to me
Saying all the things she's never said before
I don't want my dreams to end
Spend the whole night laying awake for her
Waiting for her to come knocking on my back door
Closing my eyes and expecting to wake up in her arms
It's unbearable
They're so realistic
Like what I'm dreaming of
Has finally come true
But then i close my eyes
Relax into her arms
Put my head on her shoulder
Suddenly I'm back in my room
