It was a quiet afternoon. You laid on the floor in your hive. Not really bored, just having nothing to do. And you didn't need or want anything to do.
Well, until Karkat pestered you.
carcinoGeneticist [CG] began pestering chumHandle [CH]
CG: HEY
CH: Hey to yourself
CG: CAN I COME OVER YOUR PLACE?
CH: Sure
CH: But why? Thought you didn't like hanging with me
CG: OF COURSE I LIKE HANGING OUT WITH YOU DUMBASS
CG: WHY WOULDN'T I?
CH: Oh I don't know
CH: Maybe the fact that you always seem angry at me, and you constantly cuss me out.
CH: Even if I don't like you cursing
CG: I LITERALLY TREAT EVERYONE LIKE THAT
CG: IF YOU LET ME COME OVER I'LL TRY TO STOP CURSING AROUND YOU
CH: Deal then
CH: I mean, was gonna let you come over regardless, but sure
CH: Come over whenever
CG: OKAY, ON MY WAY THEN

You sat up and looked around with a small blush on your face. Though you would never admit it to him. You were kinda flushed for Karkat.
Now you must be thinking. 'Y/N! Why would you like a jerk like that!?' And my answer would be I don't know. Karkat just has always made you smile, even when you didn't want to.
After a few minutes of you blabbering in your head about your flushcrush. You heard loud knocks at the door.
"Coming!" You called, as you rushed towards the door. Once you opened it, you greeted your shouty friend. "Hey Karkat! Welcome." You stepped aside to let him in.
"HEY." Karkat greeted back as he stepped into the hive. He had surprisingly never been inside Y/N's hive. "WOW, YOUR HIVE IS PRETTY." Karkat admired the room.
"Thanks! I spent a lot of time on it." You said proudly and you led Karkat to your living room.
"SO UH, WHAT DO WE DO NOW?" Karkat asked awkwardly.
"I have no idea. You were the one who wanted to come over!" You retorted. You huffed and smirked as Karkat started to get flustered.
"WELL I JUST WANTED TO HANG OUT WITH YOU. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO." Karkat narrows his eyes and stares at the wool rug on the floor.
"We'll figure something out." You patted his back. Karkat slightly flinched away at the touch, but moved back in after a few seconds. You realized and took your hand off of his back.
"WANNA WATCH SOME MOVIES?"
"Sure, why not?" You stand up an go to the movies case. "Any preferences?" You scan the movies.
"Troll Twilight?" Karkat murmered. You smirked and pulled it out. A classic.
You turned the lights off and sat down next to Karkat. You pressed a button on the remote and the movie started to play.

"NO, TROLL BELLA, HE DOESN'T DESERVE YOU!"
"Karkat you've seen this movie at least 50 times."
"YOUR POINT?"
"Nevermind," You said as you snuggled closer to Karkat. You looked up at him to see his eyes were wide open. He glanced at you before gulping and looking back at the movie.
If the lights were on, you would've saw a candy red blush on his cheeks.

"I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT THEY LEFT IT THERE!"
"Karkat, there's a second one."
"I KNOW, BUT IT'S STILL AGGRAVATING!"
"Well I'm not watching the second one,"
"BUT WHY?!"
"Because there's something else I'd rather do," You said with a playful tone. You sat up and stared into Karkat eyes.
"AND WHAT IS IT THEN?" Karkat squinted and shook his head.
You took a deep breath and kissed Karkat on the cheek. "Hm, nothing, let's watch the second one then,"
Karkat looked shocked to say the least. A red candy blush on his face. One you still couldn't see.
"WAIT," Karkat finally spoke up.
"Yes? What is I-" Before you could finish Karkat leaned forward, like you just did. But this time, the kiss was on the lips.
"YEA, LET'S WATCH THE SECOND ONE THEN,"
"Okay then, let's."
