Chapter 8

"Somebody.. Like you."

My body went into immediate shock, 'somebody like me' Does he like..
No he can't why would somebody want to like me... Sure I'm all those things.. Because the motor cycle.. But really, me? Why not London.. Or another girl, It wasn't like I was rejecting him.. Its just, I've never had the chance to get my hands on THAT special man.
Everything had went awkward for a second, "Hey Uh.. Listen Jake.. I um.. Your cute in all.. But I Uh.. Gotta go.. Cya!" I exclaimed quickly getting up from the bench and taking off, I ran down the side walk quickly and turned into a ally way.
'Your such an idiot!' My brain shouted loudly
'You gave up a hot guy for what? Nothing!' It shot again
"I know.."
I muttered back in reply, of course I was! Who could possibly turn down that kind of guy..?
Me.. That's who.
Im an idiot...
I texted London quickly, telling her that she'd have to get Arthur and Jake to walk her home, clicking send and stuffing the iPhone into my side jean pocket. And then I was off, walking around the busy part of New York.

No, I didn't go home.. Even if it started to get dark.
I never received a reply from london, she read the message though.. at least I know she saw it, right?
I sighed quietly kicking the old rusty corn can off the side walk, and dead into the apartment wall.
I liked being alone, even if I was alone half my life.. With some occasional visits from London here and there, not many people would think to kindly with a teenage girl living in the sewers, the stench, the disgusting water, but really and truly, it's not the bad.. Once you get used to it I guess.
I was startled when I noticed a sudden coldness on my nose, crossing my eyes slightly to look at it, I noticed it was a snow flake.
I turned my gaze up to the sky, no longer cross eyed I noticed all the little white flecks now shedding from the clouds onto New York, and covering me in it.
I never really left home, undressed from the weather, always wearing a coat, hat or mittens.. A pair of uggs or winter boots.
While other people would have just worn a sweater and sandals.
Mental right?
I clung to my jacket for warmth, I've always hated the cold, but loved winter, and the snow.
That's just me, isn't it.
London hated both things,
The cold and winter.
A clang of trash cans startled me slightly, jumping back from the ally way I was about to pass, i looked in the dark ally unprepared for what might happen.
Was I useless? I mean, using the elements to help me.. I can't really do much besides use air.
Fire was useless, none around.
Earth, well I haven't mastered that yet.
And water, pffff. Tough luck.
Another clang and a grunt came from the ally again, being the stupid brainless Kitara I am.
I emerged into the darkness, and started walking keeping my eyes aware of anything that might try to rip my head off.
Clang "OW!"
Somebody yelled
"Watch it Mikey! Can't you see it's hard enough getting up here, not adding onto you being stupid?"
The voice sounded so familiar, and 'Mikey' that just about gave it away.
I grabbed my phone from my pocket, and pressed the flash light button
Shining it on my suspects.
There they were, all four of them, Don, Raph, Leo and Mikey.
But what surprised me is what they were doing.
Donnie was reaching for something way out of his reach.
Mikey was underneath him holding up his legs, Leo was holding up Miley's legs.
And Raph was struggling to hold up the three.
I bursted into laughter, that just about made my night.
"AHHH!!" The three shouted all collapsing on Raph who then fell to the ground startled as well.
I laughed harder this time, my flashlight now turned off, and a street light dimmed into the ally way, now letting me see my turtle friends.
"Uuuuuggghhhhh, my body hurts.."
"Then why don't you bloody well get off me!"
"Guys! Being a ninja is about being silent!! So SHHH!"
"Uh sorry to ruin your moment, fearless. But BEING SILENT ISINT GOING SO WELL!"
The four argued

While I easily, swatted my hand and the little green oozy bottle thingy, hovered over the four and landed in my hand safely.
"So, is this yours?" I asked sarcastically with a raised eyebrow.
They're eyes attached on the jar and Donnie lunged for it, successfully getting it out of my hand and holding it protectivly "Yes.. And uh.. Thank you! We err.. Gotta goooooooooo!" He sang and ran off whilst Mikey chasing after him.
"CYA FIRE DUDETTE!" He exclaimed before vanishing.
"Heh.. Sorry we'll Catcha later.." Leo mummbled quickly running off
Raph was next "Uhh.. Kitara, we kinda err.. I'll see you later.." He said slowly, rubbing the back of his neck.
While finished he took off.
Gone.
Just like that.
Just gone.
"Well that was rude." I murmured, back out of the ally way and headed to the next four alleyways down, I slipped off the sewer cap, climbed down and yanked it back over.
Maybe I'll see them a little bit earlier than 'Later'
