Well. Asking Reyna out didn't go so well, but it's not like she's my only option. I've still got my plan B, Piper McLean. She's the daughter of the famous actor, Tristan McLean. She's strong and pretty too. Not as hot as Reyna, but still pretty. Plus, she hasn't got a date to prom as far as I can tell. I plan on asking her out soon, after the swelling around my eye goes down. Reyna beat me up pretty bad when I tried to ask her out.
A few days later, I found Piper in the hallway, talking to Reyna and Jason. Ugh. He was such a goody-two-shoes. I sauntered up to her, with all of my confidence. She wasn't as strong Reyna, so I could definitely take her.
"Hey, Pipes," I smirked.
"Ugh. What do you want, Mark?" She said with disgust.
"You. Me. Prom. Together. 'Kay?" I asked. Her face showed her emotions clearly. I would have expected it to be shock, but it was complete disgust.
"I'm already going with my boyfriend," She said, "And even if I wasn't, there's absolutely no way that I would go with you."
"Excuse me? I doubt that. I mean, he's probably only dating you because of your dad. Just break up with him and go with me."
"How dare you?" She growled, " First of all, my boyfriend would never date me just because of my dad, and second of all, everyone knows that you're the one that wants to date me because of my famous dad. I'm not stupid, you know."
"Just shut up and say yes," I growled. This girl was starting to make me mad.
"No thanks," she said sweetly, " Oh, and go away. Slap yourself while you're at it. Hard."
Her tone was rich, making me want to turn around and slap myself. My brain went fuzzy for a second, and then, I felt my cheek start to sting. I had slapped myself. I sighed. What was up with these girls? Usually, they would fall at my feet, saying yes at the speed of sound. But both of the girls I asked had rejected me, and hurt me. Physically.
Whatever. Plenty of other fish in the sea, I guess. But none as hot as Reyna...
A/N I don't even know anymore. Basically, Mark is a player who likes Reyna, but tried to ask out Piper since Reyna rejected him in the last chapter. I know, it's trash. But on a different note, I finally made a CHB necklace!!!!! I'm so excited!
