A/N  Yes, that  Charlotte Branwell. Also takes place during Clockwork Princess.

Charlotte rushed through the massive library of the Institute. She knew the book was in here somewhere, but where exactly, she did not know. A voice whispered in her mind. Floorboard. Heeding the instructions, she felt around on the ground for a loose floorboard. Finally, she found one in front of the fireplace, third floorboard on the right. She carefully pried it up. Inside the cavity, there was a small sack of golden coins. She allowed herself a small sigh of relief. One part was found. Now, she needed the book.

After vigorous searching, she found the volume between a book about werewolves, and The History of Shadowhunting. The cover was coated in dust, but Charlotte simply swept it off and flipped it open. She turned the pages hungrily, scanning the text for the information that she needed.

Finally, on page 158, she found the instructions. The early winter light cast rainbows across the window panes. Perfect, Charlotte thought, That's exactly what I needed. Charlotte walked over to the window and began to chant.

"Oh, Iris, goddess of the rainbow, please accept my offering."

Camp Half-Blood, 1878

Chiron looked out over the green fields of Camp Half-Blood. 13 years after the war, and he could still see the effects. The Civil War hadn't only been between the North and the South, but also between the Greeks and the Romans. It had been a huge loss of life on both sides, so much so, that the Greeks and the Romans were forced to stay separate. Even now, there weren't as many demigods as there had been before, and the Camp was still being rebuilt.

His thoughts were interrupted when the air in front of him shimmered with an Iris Message. As the image cleared, he saw a woman standing in what seemed like a library, looking somewhat  surprised. She was small, but looked authoritative. And right now, she looked anxious.

"Hello?" She said, "Chiron?"

"That is I," He replied, "And who might you be?"

"I'm Charlotte Branwell, sir, Head of the London Institute of Shadowhunters," Chiron furrowed his brow. He had never heard of Shadowhunters, much less Institutes of them.

"We need your help," She continued, "Mortmain is planning on unleashing his automaton army on us all soon, and we have barely any fighters. Jem is dying, Tessa's been taken, and Will's gone after her. We only have seven people left to fight, and the Consul is not planning on sending any reinforcements." Charlotte paused, biting her lip, as if wondering if what she would say next was a good idea at all. Chiron spoke:

"Well, what can I do for you? You seem to be in a dire situation,"

"Could you, possibly, send us any of your heroes? I've heard that they have the agility and skill to rival any Shadowhunter." Charlotte looked at him desperately. Chiron looked away from the message. Camp didn't have the numbers, he thought, and even if it did, he doubted anyone would volunteer. Sadness washed over him. He knew that he couldn't help her, but it felt wrong. He knew that ,one day, he might regret it. He looked back to the message.

"I'm sorry, Charlotte," He started, and Charlotte visibly deflated. "I cannot do that. We just got out of a war, you see. We simply don't have the numbers."

"That's alright, sir," Charlotte said sadly, "I hope that you have better luck than we did," She cracked a sad smile.

"Good luck, Charlotte," Chiron said, " I'm sorry that I couldn't help. And may the gods be on your side."

"Thank you sir," Charlotte said, as she swiped her hand through the mist and ended the message. Chiron sighed. He had a feeling that something bad was about to happen.....

A/N  So, how did you like this crossover? I got this idea one day, just an Iris Message connecting the Infernal Devices to Percy Jackson. The Infernal Devices is owned by Cassandra Clare.

Bye for now :)
