Crossover time! Yay!

When the Council said "unknown monster", Aru had not expected a big, fluffy, black dog, that she really wanted to pet. It was at least five times taller than her and had demonic red eyes, but she couldn't help already planning her grand entrance to the Otherworld on the dog's back. It was running around, like it was trying to shake off fleas, except the fact that they probably were giant fleas, if they bothered a dog this big. The thought of giant fleas was enough to make her shudder.

It was like Aiden (who was apparently the only other person that was available) could read her mind, because he grabbed her arm to stop her from petting the dog. The simple action sent tingles up Aru's arm, but she ignored them, determined to not be more awkward than she already was.

"Don't even think about it, Shah," he warned. She smiled cheekily.

"Too late."  He rolled his eyes.

"Let's just get rid of it," he said, scimitars already flashing out from his sleeves. With a few mumbled protests, Aru called Vajra into her hand, in the form of a small lightning bolt.

The dog was still distracted, presumably trying to shake off the thing from before. Right then in front of their eyes, the dog vaporized into golden dust, and was replaced by a girl. She looked like she was around sixteen, with tan skin, brown hair, a bright orange shirt that read 'Camp something' in faded letters, denim shorts, and white sneakers now covered in golden dust. Oh yeah, and she was holding a bronze dagger.

She was putting the dagger away when her eyes landed on the two of them, gawking at her. They then lowered to Vajra, clutched tightly in Aru's hand.

"What happened to the dog?" Aru blurted out before she could stop herself.

"Hellhound," the girl corrected, her eyes still trained on Vajra. She mumbled something to herself that sounded suspiciously like " Daughter of Zeus? No, that's not possible....is it?" But Aru had no idea what that meant.

"Anyways," she looked them up and down, "who are you?"

"I could ask you the same thing," Aiden responded. Aru noticed the way Aiden looked at the girl, slightly suspicious, but also...something else. A tiny spark of jealousy flashed inside of her, even though she knew that there was no real reason to be jealous. The girl was at least two years older than them, and really, really pretty. There was no way she was single. Besides, Aiden hadn't said more than a few words to her.

The girl looked back at him, narrowing her eyes.

"Son of Aphrodite?" She mumbled, looking straight at Aiden. She bit her lip and considered them, her eyes almost calculating. Aiden leaned over by Aru's ear.

"There's something off about her," he whispered. "It feels like apsara powers, but....different."

"Like, a good different?" Aru asked, confused. "Or a weird different?"

"Weird," Aiden responded, looking back at the girl. She'd been eyeing them suspiciously while absent-mindedly twirling a strand of hair around her finger.

"Well," she stepped forward, "I'm Piper. Daughter of Aphrodite. And you two should probably come with me."

"Where are we supposed to go?" Aru quipped. "How do we know you're not trying to kidnap us?"

Piper laughed. "Just trust me. I know that sounds really suspicious, but trust me."

"Okay, but where are we going?" Aiden interjected.

"Someplace safe," Piper answered, looking around. "Like, a safe haven for people like us."

"People like us?" Aru challenged. "I like to think I'm one of a kind."
