Great. The one day I get permission to leave early, my car breaks down. Right in the middle of Manhattan. Hopefully someone knows a mechanic or something. I got out of the car, and began to ask around.

"Excuse me, do you happen to know any mechanics in the area?"

"No, sorry." That was the answer every single time. I sighed dejectedly, and decided to call my wife.

"Hey honey," I greeted.

"Hi, Jer," She replied.

"I know I said that I would be home soon, but my car broke down, and no one knows a mechanic." I told her.

"Oh my God, are you okay?"

"Yes, I'm fine. I just need to get my car fixed."

"Do you know any mechanics?"

"No,"

"I can ask Sally," My wife replied. We had recently moved into an apartment on Upper East Side, and my wife became fast friends with our neighbor, Sally Blofis. She had brought blue cookies for us a few days after we moved in.

"Okay," My wife said into the phone, "Percy said that his friend is a mechanic. He said that he works at a place called Leo and Calypso' s Garage, near Long Island," Percy was Sally's son.

"Thanks, honey. Tell Percy thanks for me, okay?"

"I will," She replied, "Bye, Jeremy,"

"Bye," I said.

Okay then. Now I had to go to Long Island and find Leo and Calypso's Garage. I called the towing company, to let them know about what happened. Once they got there, I asked them to take me to the garage. An hour and a half later, the sign for the garage came into view. 'Leo and Calypso's Garage,' it read, 'Auto Repair and Mechanical Monsters'

" Thanks," I told the driver of the truck as I paid him.

"No problem," He replied. He unhooked my car from his truck and got in. He drove off, leaving me in front the shop with my broken car. Well, here we are. I walked into the shop, hearing the bell jingle. There was a beautiful woman standing at a counter with a few platters of food on top.

"Hello," She said, "Welcome to our garage. I'm Calypso. What do you need?"

"My car broke down. I don't know what's wrong with it. My neighbor's son, Percy, told us that he knows a mechanic here?"

"Oh!" Calypso's eyes sparked with recognition. "Percy Jackson?"

"Yes, why?"

"He's a friend of ours. Anyway, I'll get my boyfriend to take a look at it," She said. She walked into the back of the building.

I took the moment to look around. The walls were a cream color, but there were a few things on the wall, such as a few framed blueprints, which looked like they were for a mechanical dragon, and some photographs of a group of teenagers, including Calypso and Percy. There were small mechanical parts everywhere. Calypso walked back into the room with another guy from the picture, who I assumed was her boyfriend. He smirked at me.

"Hey," He said, " So, your car broke down?"

"Yeah," I replied.

" Was it acting up before?" He asked.

"No, not that I know of."  He nodded.

"Mmm. Okay, I'll take a look."

He went outside to where my car sat on the pavement. Calypso turned to me.

"Take a seat," She said kindly, "He could take a while." She served me some herbal tea, which I didn't know I was craving, and a warm soup, perfect for the New York cold. We talked as she tidied up, until her boyfriend came in about two hours later.

"Should be all set," He handed me a business card. "Call me if anything happens to it,"

"Thanks," I said.

"No problem." The guy, Leo I assumed, said.

"Have a nice day!" Calypso said warmly.

"You too," I said, turning to walk out the door. The bell jingled behind me as I left.

I started the car. To my relief, it worked. Now I could finally get home. I wonder if it's too late to take my wife to that restaurant she wanted to go to...

A/N  I'm back! Yay! Sorry for being gone for so long, I was just procrastinating. Anyways, how was it? Was the ending okay? I want your guys' opinions!

Bye for now! :)
