Angelica Harper--- Will Solace

I hurried down the hallway, trying to make it to the nurse's office before he left.

By 'he', I obviously meant Will Solace. Will was extremely attractive, with tanned skin, golden hair and cornflower blue eyes.

Needless to say, he was the heartthrob of pretty much the entire school. And he interned for the school nurse. Let's just say that the number of injuries jumped a lot.

A few people had asked him out already, but he'd rejected them all. Who knows, maybe he was just waiting for me. I mean, no one could resist me, and I was sure that Will was no exception.

I was heading down from P.E. with a sprained wrist (on purpose of course) from playing volleyball. Coach had let me out with a suspicious look in my direction. He'd probably noticed the rise in injuries ever since Will had started interning, but didn't say anything.

I'd been so lost in thought that I almost walked past the door. I backtracked and opened it, quickly slipping inside.

To my dismay, Will wasn't there, but the nurse, Miss Coralyn, was.

"Um, when will Will get here?" I asked her. She raised an eyebrow and put down her magazine.

"Will is going to be back soon. He left to get lunch a while ago. Now, do you want me to help you or are you going to wait for him?" I sighed, frustrated.

"I'll wait," I spat. The nurse rolled her eyes and went back to her magazine. I plopped down onto one of the beds in the corner.

I scrolled through Instagram while I waited, before switching to TikTok. Ugh. What was taking him so long?

After a few minutes, I heard the door swing open.

"Hey, Lyn," someone said from the door. Will! Finally!

"Will," the nurse replied, barely looking up from her magazine. "There’s some girl who's waiting for you." She rolled her eyes again. Will turned to look at me and I put on my most dazzling smile.

"Hey, Will," I purred at him.

"Um, Avery, right?" I clucked my tongue, slightly offended at the fact that he couldn't remember my name.

"Angelica, actually," I corrected. "But you can call me Angel."

"Angel," a small smile spread over Will's face. "Okay, well, what's wrong?"

What's wrong is that you aren't dating me yet, I thought, but I didn't say that. "My wrist hurts," I said instead, holding my wrist out to him.

"Huh, well, from the looks of it, you sprained it. Should be a quick fix, I just need to find the Ace wrap. Wait right here." He walked over to the cabinets and began rifling through them. Finally, he grabbed a roll of bandages and came back over to me.

His golden hair fell over his face as he worked, wrapping the bandages around my wrist. He finished and laced my arm into a black brace.

"Just to keep you from moving it too much," he supplied. He finished and patted my arm. "Well, you're good to go. Bye, Neeks."

"What?" I whipped around so fast that my dark hair almost hit my eye. "Who's 'Neeks'?"

"Oh." Will rubbed the back of his neck, flushed a bright red. "Well, Nico is my... significant other...? And you just reminded me of him, y'know, by the 'Angel' thing."

"Wait, wait, wait.. You're gay?" I exclaimed, in shock.

"Well, not exactly," He responded. The nurse finally looked up from her magazine and sipped her tea. "I'm actually bisexual."

"Whatever. That means you could still date me, right?"

"Technically? I guess? But, I mean, I have no desire to date you. No offense," he added that last part quickly after seeing my face. "I'm in a serious relationship right now, and to be frank, you're not really my type."

I huffed. "Whatever," I stalked out of the nurse's office. The last thing I saw before I left was Miss Coralyn, looking like she was struggling to hold in her laughter.

A/N  Hey! It's been awhile! My fault,  again. I got Writer's Block right as I wanted to write a new chapter back in May. Not a great excuse, I know, BUT... I'm working on another story (a Selection AU, actually) that I'm hoping to get at least ten-ish chapters into before I put it here on Wattpad.

Anyways, did you all hear? The Supreme Court shut down the Trump Administration's desire to get rid of transgender health protection! During Pride Month! This is honestly amazing, I'm glad that at least someone  in the US government has a brain.

Anyways, not much other news that I know of. 'Repeal th 19th' hasn't gone to the government yet, and I highly doubt it ever will (Thank the gods), and the environment is doing pretty great, thanks to the decrease in human activity (if you couldn't tell, I'm kind of an environmentalist).

So...yeah! Stay safe, be kind, and take care of the planet. Bye!
🏳️‍🌈Happy Pride Month!🏳️‍🌈
