If his life was going to be turned into a movie in the future, Kurt was sure that it would be a horror movie. He would be the point of view character and you would understand from the start that he was afraid. Afraid to come out of the closet. Afraid to go to school. Afraid to do anything. You would see him flinch every time any of the other students was passing him in the hallway. How he got goosebumps every time he opened his locker because he didn't know when he was going to get pushed against it. The way he ran every time he left school. Karofsky and the football team were the monsters who walked around with one purpose; to terrify Kurt and make his life a living nightmare. Mission accomplished.
If his life was a horror movie, this would be the point of no return. The camera would show the football team walk towards him, Karofsky with a slushy in his hands. Then you would see Kurt getting surrounded and just managed to look up before Karofsky threw the slushy at him."Welcome to Glee Club, Lady." Noah Puckerman exclaimed while high-fiving Azimio, Karofsky and Finn. Kurt could feel some of the slushy make it's way down his chest after it managed to get on the inside of his shirt. His clothes were ruined. His eyes were burning. His facial was a waste of time. He tried to get some of the slushy away from his eyes, but his vision got blurrier and his eyes started burning more from the touch of his hand. Most of the team was already gone to get to training, but Kurt saw Blaine Anderson stand there and just look at him. Why didn't he get slushied? He was the one who was arguing with one of the most popular students. Then he remembered that the football team was like a brotherhood. If you joined, they'd stick up for you and have your back.
As the Cheerleader Santana Lopez walked by them, she stopped to peck Blaine's lips and telling him when and where to meet up after training. They're the second most popular couple at McKinley. Finn and the Cheerio captain Quinn Fabray are the most popular.
Kurt rushed to the bathroom to see if he could save his clothes. As he was in the bathroom, he looked at his reflection in the mirror. There were red stains of the raspberry slushy all over his face and he felt it run down his ears as well. Kurt started to tear up. No. He thought. You're a Hummel. No one can shove a Hummel around. He dried off the tears before they had a chance to fall. Then he started to clean himself up by the sink.*
"How was school, Kurt?" Burt Hummel asked his son when they were eating chicken that night. Burt has always been concerned about his son's life in school. Every time he brought up the subject, Kurt was trying everything to avoid the subject. He never smiled anymore and Burt had no idea why. He just wanted Kurt to let him help. He would do anything to see his little boy be happy.
"Fine I guess." Kurt replied while poking his food with his fork. Burt took a closer look and spotted something on Kurt's right cheek.
"What's that red thing on your cheek then?" He asked. Kurt's right thumb found the red spot. He dried it off and used a tissue to get it off his finger. Burt knew that Kurt was careful with what he touched, and by the look on his face, his father saw that the red liquid was sticky.
"It's nothing. Just some stuff with the football team" Completely taken aback, Burt's jaw dropped to the floor and he dropped the piece of chicken on the fork he was moving towards his mouth.
"You're on the football team?" Kurt nodded slowly and insecurely.
"S-surprised?" This time, Burt was the one to nod this time. When Burt asked which position Kurt played, Kurt had no idea what to answer. "Make a guess, Dad." His dad thought for a moment.
"You're so little... could you be the kicker by any chance?" He wouldn't have a chance at any of the other positions. Maybe being the kicker will also be too hard.
"Ah, yes. I'm the kicker. You guessed it." What Burt didn't know was that Kurt wasn't on the football team and that the bullying started to get way out of hand...
