Kurt only knew two people who might want to help him; Finn Hudson and Blaine Anderson. Finn was his fellow Glee Club member and Blaine just seemed like the type of person who just wanted to be nice to everyone for some reason. He found Finn in the hallway by his locker. Kurt walked towards him and patted him on the shoulder.
"Hi. Um, I wanted to ask you to do me a favor." Finn looked at me with a pleading look. He closed his locker and looked down at Kurt.
"I'm sorry, man, but I really shouldn't be talking to you." Maybe he as much of a hero as I thought he was. This was too important for Kurt to just start thinking about anything else. He needed to be on the team. As soon as possible.
"I-I want to be the kicker. To be on the football team." He sighed, not completely wanting to continue because he was never interested in football. The football players were wearing stirrup pants. There was never an excuse to wear stirrup pants! "I really need to try out, Finn." The jock's eyes widened in pure shock.
"That's really not a good idea, man. I can't help you out this time. Sorry." Kurt bit his bottom lip in disappointment. Finn walked two steps forward until standing beside the smaller boy and put a hand on his shoulder, his back in the same direction as Kurt's face. "Maybe you should try the ballet club." The tall teen spoke quietly but it didn't change the fact that the words had hurt as much as if he had yelled it in front of the whole school. The jock walked away and left Kurt alone with his disappointment.

Blaine didn't quite understand why he of all people happened to be the owner of the locker in between Finn's and Puck's lockers. He could barely stand the stench from the two lockers when they were changing before football practice. What did they even have in there? Puck's locker smelled like dirty socks and tuna. He really didn't want to think about the stench coming from Finn's locker. It was if someone threw up in there. Trice. And it also smelled like rotten food and dirty, sweaty clothes. In Blaine's family, it was important to be perfect. Which made it even harder for him to survive the smell. He still wondered why the two boys didn't smell all the time and what they even had in their lockers that can cause those awful smells. He couldn't imagine.
At least Blaine was alone in the locker room now. He was about to go find coach Tenaka to ask if it was alright if he missed some minutes of the afternoon practice when he felt someone patting his shoulder lightly. He turned around and saw none other than Kurt, the poor kid that his friends had chosen as a victim for their bullying and harsh harassment. Why would he want to have anything to do with Blaine when he's a part of the group of people who made his life miserable?"Blaine? Can you please let me speak before saying anything?" He waited for a sign from Blaine who nodded in understanding, signalling for Kurt to continue talking. The taller boy took a deep breath before continuing. "Okay, so... I need a favor. It's because I kinda made my dad think that I'm the kicker on the team." He looked for any signs reactions on Blaine's face, but the hazel eyed boy had the exact same expression as when Kurt started explaining the situation. "Do you think there's any chances of me getting to try out for the team? And do you think it's something you could help with?" The locker room fell silent as Blaine thought about it. He knew that he would risk a bad reputation if he helped Kurt, but he knew that it must've been hard for Kurt to ask for help from a friend of his bullies.
"I won't be able to make you any promises that you'll get to try because the coach is pretty strict, but I promise to ask if a tryout is possible. I'll let you know what he says." He sent Kurt a smile, but the boy with the chestnut brown hair kept a stone cold expression plastered on his face.
Just as Blaine started to walk away, Kurt placed is hand on the left shoulder of the dark haired boy. Blaine looked up at Kurt."Thank you, Blaine." He said with a nod. Blaine nodded as well and went to find the coach as soon as Kurt let go of his shoulder.

"Hello, I'm Kurt Hummel and I'll be auditioning for the role of kicker." Kurt said as he was about to start the tryout Blaine managed to get him while the football players started to laugh. Well, all but Blaine. According to the jock, it took a lot of convincing to get the tryout. His music was ready though Blaine tried to talk him out of it, but Kurt needed his music.
The ball got placed and the music started. It was Single Ladies. An: Time skip 'cause we all know what happens.
Kurt had mixed feelings about being the new kicker. Of course he was happy to be able to try to make the team win something for once and the chances of not getting harassed will be slightly better, but he doesn't even like football. At least his father would be proud. Kurt couldn't even imagine what he was going to say to Burt if he didn't make it on the team. He didn't want to disappoint his father in any way. That's also why it's so hard for Kurt to come out of the closet. Well, at least that's a worry for another day. Now his biggest challenge was to survive being on the same team as Karofsky, Azimio, Puck and all of the other jocks who had harassed him.
AN: This chapter is absolute garbage. I had rewritten it five times...
