Kurt ran in the direction he saw his friend sprint, but he stopped in his tracks when he realized that all of the students were laughing and whispering about something. Something in the school paper to be exact. He ran to Rachel and snatched the paper she was holding.

"I was just reading, Kurt!" She yelled and tried to take the gossip paper out of his pale hands. He saw the cover and on the cover was a picture of Blaine and Santana holding hands. In the bottom, there was capital letters with the text: THE TRUTH ABOUT BLAINE ANDERSON AND 'BLAINTANA'
Kurt didn't know what to expect when he turned to the seventh page. Even when he saw the name of the article, a wave of confusion was washing over him.

FAGGOT
We all love and admire the relationship between Blaine Anderson and Santana Lopez. If we love it or not, we're all jealous and want to be in their stead, but the so called 'Blaintana' romance is a lie. At Santana's party this Friday, it came to our attention that the couple wasn't together after the guests started running through the door, but we know that both of them had collided lips with other people. At 8:42pm, we saw ms. Lopez make out with who might have seemed to be none other than the Glee Club member, Mike Chang. Blaine on the other hand surprised us all when he was seen in an empty hallway, kissing a guy who ran away from the party a few moments after. Yes, you read it correctly. Blaine Anderson is a fag. It made us wonder if Santana knew that her boyfriend was in the closet, or if this article is as surprising for her. If she knew, why would she stay with him. Maybe she has a secret to hide as well?

Below the article was a picture of Blaine wearing a police officer costume, kissing a taller figure wearing all black clothes. Kurt dropped the paper in poor shock. It's me. Blaine was the one who kissed me. Kurt wasn't happy about it at all. Sure, he was glad that he found out who stole his first kiss, but he didn't want to think that it was Blaine and that he would actually feel some kind of spark. It was just so wrong. Blaine deserved better than him. But still, Blaine probably didn't feel the same. He remembered the smell of alcohol coming from the shorter boy. Yup, he was definitely too drunk to notice anything. Kurt then started running after Blaine again. Though they weren't exactly the closest friends, Kurt knew exactly where to find Blaine. And he was right. Under the bleachers, hugging his knees in a corner was the boy with the hair gel.

"Hi." Kurt said as he walked over and sat down beside the crying boy, padding him on the back for comfort. It only made him cry more, but Kurt didn't let go.

"Kurt." Blaine said without looking up. He didn't have to look to know that it was the pale boy that was sitting beside him. He could just feel it. "I have never felt worse."

"I know, I know. But why didn't you just defend yourself and tell people that you're straight?" Blaine looked up at him before looking at his feet. The realization struck Kurt like lightning. "It wasn't a lie." He whispered. "A-are you- Are you g-gay, Blaine?" The question came out as a stutter. Blaine started sobbing even more if it was even possible.

"I-I was planning on coming o-out soon." He cried. "Only my family knows." The next thing Kurt heard was barely a whisper. The taller boy had to listen really carefully to figure out what was being said. "First the not, now this." Kurt was curious about what note he was talking about, but he decided that it was a better question to ask when Blaine wasn't having a breakdown under the bleachers.

"So, you kissed a guy at the party, huh?" He couldn't decide if he wanted to tell him or not. If he told him, he could risk their friendship. If he kept hiding it, he could risk both himself and Blaine. He decided to wait for Blaine to answer before deciding exactly what to do. The boy with the gelled hair looked up at him with a sad smile.

"Y-yeah, yeah. It was..." he wiped his eyes with his sleeve. "It was nice. Now that I'm out, I can start looking for him." With those words, Kurt's heart sank like the Titanic. Blaine wanted to find him. If he knew that Kurt was the guy he kissed at the party, there was no way he wouldn't be disappointed. Plus he was drunk when they kissed, so he might've thought that it felt good but it actually didn't. It felt good for Kurt, but he knew that Blaine was way too good for him.

"If you need help to find him, I'm here to help you." It was only partly a lie. Of course he wanted to help Blaine, but there was no way he would let him find him. If he offered the brunette boy some help, he could maybe lead him farther away from the truth. "And I know this whole coming out thing is hard, and I can't even imagine how an outing would feel, so you're not alone. I'm here for you. Always." Once again he padded Blaine's back. "Have you ever thought about joining Glee Club? Everyone in there will accept you as who you are no matter what." Blaine shook his head.

"I'm not a singer or dancer, and I also need the popularity football gives. Especially now."

"You can do both, Blaine, that's what I do and it's working out fine." Kurt stood up and stretched his hand out to the shorter boy. "Please, just consider it." Taking the hand, Blaine got pulled to his feet by Kurt and embraced the boy with chestnut brown hair in a big hug.

"I'm so glad we're friends, Kurt. You have no idea how much your friendship means to me. I won't join Glee Club. I want to only play football." Kurt nodded understandingly and the two friends headed back inside, ready to meet whatever teasing and humiliation Blaine would have to go through for the rest of the day.
