Three weeks had passed since the game. Three eventful weeks. Kurt had quit football the Monday after the game -which was on a Friday- and Blaine was on crutches because of the sprained ankle, but most importantly, Blaine and Kurt hadn't spoken a word to each other, and when they passed each other in the hallway, they would usually look away immediately. Now the Christmas holiday had started and it was already the 24th December. The day where Blaine decided to get some advice on what to do about the whole Kurt situation.

"You wanted to see me?" Yesterday Blaine had texted one of the people who could probably know what to do. The two of them were sitting at a table in the corner of the Lima Bean.

"Thanks for meeting me, Finn." Blaine said and took a sip of his coffee. "I think I should just get straight to the point." Finn nodded for Blaine to continue. "So, I'm not sure what Kurt has been telling you, but I seriously don't know what to do. What has he told you about the party and the game?" Frankenteen cleared his throat and looked right into Blaine's hazel eyes.

"I discovered what happened at the party, but if I hadn't, he wouldn't have told me. And as for the game, he told me about your argument. Actually, I didn't exactly feel like I needed to know every single detail." They sat in silence for some minutes before Blaine asked the question he was dying to ask.

"What do you think I should do?" Finn started to tap his foot on the floor of the café, trying to figure out the best way to explain what had happened in the Hummel-Hudson house that involved the situation with Blaine, the kiss, the outing, the game and the silent treatment that Blaine gave Kurt.

"I don't know what you should do, dude, but I can tell you what I have witnessed at home. Kurt likes you, Blaine. He just doesn't believe that he can actually be good enough for you. After the game, after you got hurt, he has been really distant. When we came home, he went straight into his room. I thought it was fine and that he was just tired, but he only go out of there when he needs something to eat and drink or if he needs to go to the bathroom. He really didn't intend to hurt you, but ended up hurt both of you. I think you should remember his intentions. But what you have to do is your call, dude." Finn stood up and patted Blaine on the shoulder before leaving the coffee shop, leaving Blaine with his thoughts and confusion. He needed to make a decision as soon as possible.

"Hey, kiddo, what has been going on with you these past few weeks?" Burt asked his son as the two of them were eating Christmas dinner with Carole and Finn. Kurt hadn't said a word, but he knew that his father needed an answer.

"I've just, um, I've been studying a lot." He pursed his lips after saying it and immediately regretted his explanation.

"Kurt, the holiday started two weeks ago." Kurt's mouth gaped open. He had hoped that his dad would let it slip and don't point out that little -yet obvious- detail.

"I, um... I-" Kurt was saved when the doorbell started to ring. The timing couldn't be better. "I'll get it." He told the others and left the table.

"Merry Christmas!" Was heard the second he opened the door. Carol singers. He hoped that it would be quick this time and it was. He wished them a merry Christmas and watched them go to the neighbor's house before closing the door.

"Who was it?" Carole asked when Kurt returned to the dining room.

"Carol singers." He said and went to his chair. As he pulled out the chair, ready to sit down, the doorbell rang once again. "If it's carol singers again," he mumbled while walking back to the door. "I swear to God, who I don't believe in, that I'll shove a—" he stopped himself before he could finish the sentence -and regret it-, because when he opened the door, he saw none other than Blaine Anderson.

"Hi Kurt." He greeted at Kurt nodded at him instead of saying something. "Can you please come outside for a moment?" Once again Kurt nodded and quickly put on his shoes and coat. "These past three weeks, I've done nothing but thinking. I've been thinking about what to do and what to feel when I see you, and I've taken a decision about what to do with this -with us-, and what you did wasn't okay, Kurt. You knew about how awful I felt when I couldn't find the guy from the party, and you knew how desperately I wanted— I needed to find him. Then I did. I found you." He then did something that he hadn't done since the game. He looked into Kurt's eyes. "And even though what you did was bad, and even though you hurt me, I was still relieved to finally get to know who made me feel what I felt in the hallway when I felt a pair of lips on my own. I let the hurt and the anger take over, and I'm so sorry for doing that. In the classroom at the game, I should've just remembered those feelings instead of the lies you had told me." He walked closer to Kurt and took his pale hands in his own tanned ones. Goosebumps started forming on Kurt's arms the moment Blaine's cold skin touched his own. "After three weeks of thinking, I've taken a decision. Christmas is about forgiveness, right? That's why I've chosen to forgive you and ask you this: Kurt Hummel, will you let me take you out on a date?" Kurt felt his heart skip a beat, but he nodded anyway.

"What about Santana? You guys are still together?"
