Some of the football players had started to act strange towards Kurt in the past few weeks since he joined the team. In a good way though. Matt sometimes gave him a high five in the hallway. Mike would always sit in between him and Matt if he hadn't already taken a seat between Mercedes and Tina before the Asian jock walked through the door. The most courageous thing that one of the team players had done was when Blaine had walked over and asked Kurt if he wanted to go to the Lima Bean so he could explain the rules of football to him two days after he joined the team. Kurt had agreed in utter shock.
If Blaine can be courageous enough to risk his reputation by talking to me, I can be brave enough to loose my father by telling him the truth. He thought to himself as he looked across the dining table to see Burt Hummel stuff some bread into his mouth. Kurt thought about different ways of telling his father what he had kept a secret since he was three and started to know exactly who he was.
"Dad, I need to tell you something." The older man looked up at his son, quickly chewing his bread in case he had to say something to the teen. "After I've told you, please don't stop loving me. You're the most important part of my life and I feel like now is the right time for you to know, or keeping it a secret will probably make me loose my mind soon." Burt nodded and his son cleared his throat. "I-I'm gay, dad. I'm gay and I don't like football." Just like Kurt usually did, his father didn't show any signs of emotions. Kurt on the other hand let a tear slip down his his left cheek. "I know it's the complete opposite of what you always wanted, but it's... it's who I am and I didn't choose how I got to be, but even if it was possible, I would choose to be like this and don't change a thing." Part of that was a lie. Kurt would do anything to be accepted at school and to get rid of Azimio and Karofsky's harassment, even if the price was trying to be on a team he feared and didn't feel like a part of. "I'll stay on the football team. It will make you happy and if you're happy, I'm happy." He made eye contact with his father. Neither of them moved a feature. It was as if stone hit stone.
"I've known that you were gay since you were three. You thought you were good at hiding it, but a father knows his son. I know you, Kurt." Burt smiled a little. His son kept letting a few tears escape his eyes. "I must admit that I'm not the biggest fan of the idea, but no matter if you love boys or girls, I will always support you and fight to the bitter end for your right to love whoever you want to love." He got up and so did his son who went to his father and embraced the older man. They were hugging for some time until Burt spoke up. "Thanks for telling me son. And you don't have to stay on the football team because of me. I know that I'm the reason why you joined in the first place. When you're ready to talk about it and explain what the rain stain on your cheek was, I'll be listening." Kurt let go of his father and looked up at him.
"I-I'm not only doing it for you. As you saw two days ago, I'm actually pretty good at it. And I think I might be making... a new friend."
"I'm glad to hear that, Kurt. I actually have something to tell you as well." That's when his father told him that his girlfriend, Carole Hudson, would move in together with her son. Finn. Finn Hudson. The same Finn Hudson who hadn't told anyone about their parents' relationship in utter fear of a bad reputation. Just because of him.

Blaine walked confidently down the hallway of McKinley High towards his locker. It was pretty early because Blaine always went to school early to go boxing before class and to be sure to get to class earlier than the others. Today there was surprisingly no one in the hallway. There was always at least four other students in the hallway, but this was an exception. Blaine walked to his locker and unlocked it. When he opened it, his heart was about to jump out of his chest. A note was lying in his locker. He grabbed the note and unfolded it before reading the words that frightened him more than anything.
What's up queer?
For how long has your little girlfriend known your little secret? If she doesn't, I might as well leave a note for her too. I bet you can't wait to get out of the closet.
Someone knew his secret. Only one person beside Blaine knows the truth about Blaine's sexuality and he needed to find that person as soon as possible. Some questions were repeatedly running through his mind. Who sent the note? How did the person know? How did they break into my locker? Blaine chose to put the note back inside of his locker and went to go boxing. It was his way of relaxing. For some odd reason, when he was boxing, it was as if he hit his problems and it was as if they would go away for a bit of time.
After some boxing and changing clothes, he went out to the hallway and hurried to his locker to get the note and stuffed it in the back pocket of his jeans. He then rushed to Santana's locker where the Latina was grabbing her books for math. She knew Blaine well enough to sense that something was wrong.
"Tana, we have a problem." He said before pulling out the note from his pocket and handed it to his girlfriend who's eyes widened when she started to tear the not apart after reading it.
