Blaine had started to ignore Kurt. He planned on doing it until he found the right way to confront him about the kiss. He was sure that the taller boy had known. Kurt didn't seem like the type to go out and get drunk. Avoiding Kurt was especially hard at football practice. But tonight they had a game and Blaine was so excited. He wondered if Kurt was too. The kicker had clearly enjoyed the first game he played, but seemed to have lost interest after that. Blaine' mind kept circulating around the subject. Maybe Kurt- Cut the crap, Blaine. He demanded himself. He lied to you. You shouldn't give a shit about what happens to him. And he knew that he shouldn't care, but deep down in the bottom of his heart, he knew that he cared about Kurt enough for an ache to start inside of him, when he saw Karofsky and Azimio harass the boy who owned the locker in between theirs.

Though the game hadn't started yet, a loud cheering could be heard from the bleachers. Kurt wished that he was up there instead of on the bench in the red football equipment, waiting for the game to start. His eyes wandered along the rows of people on the bleachers, and he tried to spot familiar faces in the crowd of smiling people who counted on them, on the team, and he spotted the familiar faces of Artie, Mercedes and Tina. Not to mention that Santana, Quinn and Brittany who were standing across the field together with the other cheerleaders, were warming up to cheer at the game. Kurt couldn't wait for the game to be over.

When people say that when awful things happen, it's almost as if time stops right before the incident and then it starts going in slow motion, they're not lying. If anyone had told him that it was true the same morning, he would've never believed it. The team they played against had a player that made Kurt want to go run and hide. The boy was tall, taller than Finn, and very muscular, almost like a teenage version of Gregor Clegane. The moment that made Kurt believe that awful things happen in slow motion, was when the teen-mountain sprinted towards Blaine and tackled him to the ground. Don't get him wrong, he knew that there was a lot of dangers for football players, and he knew that Blaine could easily get hurt, but when the short boy hit the ground, Kurt knew that there was something wrong. The crowd started to gasp, and before he knew it, one of his pale hands covered his mouth. Instead of getting up, Blaine stayed on the ground, his hands clutching his left ankle, wincing every time he tried to move. Kurt couldn't move. It was as if his feet were glued to the ground. He couldn't stand seeing Blaine being hurt. For some reason, he couldn't look away, no matter how much it hurt to see the shorter teen twist his face is pain. Kurt was pull out of the trance when he heard yelling from beside him while Finn and Puck went to help Blaine up.

"You can't make one of my Cheerios take care of your brain dead jocks! They need to keep the audience awake! They're dosing off, you idiot!" The voice undoubtedly belonged to Sue Sylvester. An angry Sue Sylvester. No, wait, screw that. A furious Sue Sylvester. The woman was definitely the most angry and revengeful person that had ever been on the planet.

"Oh, come on, Sue!" Ken Tanaka yelled back at the cheerleader coach. "Can't you see that my boys are actually trying to win the game while your Cheerios are just shaking their pom-poms?" Then Sue turned to look at Kurt.

"Hey, Tickle-Me-Doughface! You're going to help Other Gay get to the nurse! She yelled at him, even though he was only standing five meters away from her. "You're useless here anyway!" About a minute -with a lot of protest from Coach Tanaka- after, Blaine was limping towards Kurt and the two coaches, his arms around the necks of Finn and Puck, who supported him as he was 'walking'. When the three jocks approached them, Kurt immediately rushed to Blaine and swung one of Blaine's arms around his shoulder to support him as they were walking to the nurse.

"Kurt. Stop." Blaine said, flinching from the pain walking gave him. Kurt stopped in his tracks, still holding onto the shorter boy. "My ankle. I know we're almost there, but I need a break. Just a few minutes." Kurt nodded and helped him get into an empty classroom. They both sat down on tables across from each other. Looking at Blaine, Kurt noticed that the brunette boy did everything to avoid eye contact with him.
